Now, I'm 62, my belly can no longer tolerate super spicy food. Flippin well known chicken joints have gone way too far with the use of fire oil for seasoning their food. I mean that they are using this as an ingredient in everything that they sell. One joint, named after certain pipe tooting swabbie, bam near put me in the ER! And I had was a two piece mild, mashed Gradys, that potatoes for you non-Celtic people, and gravy. I awoke at 1am spewing fire oil into the trash bin by my bed!
Anyways, anywho, I wanted some KFC, looked for one in my vintage GPS, and it listed one at 195 Memorial Drive in Picayune. Well, it seems that the Colonel had left town, to be replaced by Logan's Famous Chicken and Tenders. Drove to the drive thru window, received a cheerful greeting, and assurance that their food was not spicy. I ordered an order of Chicken Livers, along with a basket of Shrimp. Liver were cooked perfectly. The Shrimp however were the consistency of Sun Dried Shrimp, chewy, but not bad. My 10yo son had the Chkn tenders meal, his Mom had a Grilled Chkn Samwich, two tenders on a bun. We were all pleased and satisfied, will be...
Read moreTheir sign describing new chicken tenders was confusing. It had 6 tenders on a plate, fries and drink. Three different flavors, showed 2 of each on same plate. Price was just under $7. Okay, when we questioned the nice cashier, you get 2 tenders, of your choice, fries and drink for that price. Tenders are roughly $1.40 each, bought separately. That being said, the cashier was really polite and patient with us. She smiled and laughed. The food came out quickly. It was fresh and tasted good. Chicken was not greasy. Juicy. Flavors of the sauces were good. We tried all three. Side of red beans and rice were good. Needed salt and pepper, but made from scratch! We decided that we would surely come back. I don't mind if there's some confusion, as long as they are able to clearify it and treat you well....
Read moreWhat can I say about this place but that it is the best place to eat in Picayune! I’ve been there several times now with my family and we’ve probably tried every dish, but the food is so nice and tastes amazing! The hot sausage po boy and their chicken tenders are so yummy! The staff are so friendly and always super helpful. The owners even came over to chat to us one day and they were so nice and friendly. I love supporting local businesses and Logan’s I would 150% recommend for lunch, dinner or just a family trip out for food. Amazing food, amazing staff, and great prices too! And a little side note but they always play lovely Christian music and have lovely Christian artwork on their walls, it’s a lovely atmosphere when you’re...
