Carolina Fine Foods — Restaurant in Pickens

I’ve only been to this place 3 times. I’ll never go back. I wish I could give negative stars. The first time I got a deluxe cheeseburger plate half-and-half, and a hotdog for my son. The food was horrible. The onion rings was burnt on the outside and undercooked on the inside and the french fries was the same. The hamburger patty was as thin as McDonald’s hamburger patties that comes with a kids happy meal. The meat tasted like potted meat that has been mechanically separated. My son’s hotdog was just as bad. My son took a bite of the hotdog and started gagging. I thought he was choking on the hotdog. He wasn’t he was gagging because of the taste. The hotdog “weenie” was cold, it wasn’t even cooked, the chili tasted like it was about a week old and it was dry as sand. But what puzzled me was the hotdog bun was soggy. It wasn’t soggy from grease because the chili was dry as sand. The 2nd time around was by accident. My wife forgot to get me a fried flounder plate from Pete’s in Easley. So she stopped by and got it from this place. The flounder was chewy. It tasted as if it was cooked 2 to 3 days prior and then reheated up in the microwave and served. The fries was cooked the same as the 1st time. The 3rd time was my fault, I should’ve never went there again. I was thinking since it’s been awhile since the other 2 times maybe they have already gotten a new cook. Boy was I wrong. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with lettuce tomato and mustard “no mayonnaise”. I should’ve checked it before I left the parking lot, honestly I should’ve never went to this place again. I got about halfway to Easely and I decided I was gonna go ahead and start eating it. I opened it up and the first thing I see is mayonnaise on the sides of the two slices of tomato. Which are ordered no mayonnaise. So I had to take the tomatoes off and I should’ve took a picture of the tomatoes because each slice of tomato was about a 3/4” of a inch thick. Again the hamburger meat tasted like mechanically separated potted meat. And the hamburger meat was in several pieces on the bun. It was so bad I couldn’t even eat the rest.

I will never eat there again this a place that no respect for it's customers help me understand why are y'all taking people hard earned money and giving them poor quality food and kids meals portions on a take out order this absolutely appalling to me it was my 1st and last time I eat there you call yourself Carolina Fine Food you need to change the name to Carolina Rob you of money foods so if you want to be mad and hungry when get a take plate go there and get rip off because the cook is robbing you and the owner is allowing it I going to email channel 4 news so the can send a under cover team to see how y'all are stealing people money by ripping them off on a Togo order tell you cook God see him stealing from people and you as the owner allow it so you both are guilty for this crime against the people who support you I am glad you appreciate us by ripping us off remember you never know who is going to come in and spend there hard earned money for a Togo meal that might be the only meal the eat that day I have never complained about a Chinese restaurant not giving me my money worth because they value there costumers because with out them they go out of business you and your cook need to think about that the next time you steal from people who spend there money with you on a Togo order because they don't have...

I came here all of the time but today will be the last. I had to drive to the window for service because I sat at the speaker saying hello. The girl at the window then rolled her eyes at us. I gave our order and paid with a card, I watched her run the card and then continue to do other things. I had to knock on the window and ask for our card back and again I was given an attitude. When I finally got my order it was shoved out the window at us. There was no thank you or have a good day. I said that I was sorry for bothering her while at her job. She shouted at me out the window. P.S after all of that out order was all wrong. We use to eat the weekly but never again because of very bad customer service.
