Service, my grandparents has always gone here, they are a regular, and love coming! They always get the mozzarella cheese (cheese bites(?)) and garlic parmesan chicken wings,

The sweet tea has a decent amount of sweetness. Not too little, not too much. You can taste the sweet and it not being overpowered. When I got my dr. Pepper though It was a little water down.

they’re mozzarella cheese bites are fabulous! They have a big string pull and came out very fresh. They have lots of cheese in the insides and is nice and gooey. Not very crunchy, but you still get some crunches there and then.

They’re garlic chicken wings isnt over powered with flavor and a little crunchy and crusty soft at the same time. “They’re just good, I really like them.” -Grandpa “If there’s any leftovers he takes home and eats it at night” -Grandma

I got the chicken tenders and fries. The chicken tenders tasted pretty good, the flavor was good, but there was some parts where there was more flavor than the other, and it isn’t that crispy. Still good flavor.

Now the fries, they are the average straight skinny fries. Kind like the ones from McDonald’s, but it isn’t soggy and droopy. The outside is firm and hard, but the inside is soft and chewy.

Now I’m not one to judge for the fried shrimp bites since I don’t like shrimp, but I’ll give you my honest opinions without saying “ew this is nasty”, ect. I tried a bite of it from my cousins plate, it was pretty small, not sure if it’s supposed to be like that since I don’t eat shrimp… it was VERY crispy, you could taste more of the crispy part than the shrimp. I barley got the shrimp flavor in there, (not sure if that’s good or bad)

Chicken bacon and ranch Quesadillas: the tortilla had a perfect crunch and, the chicken tasted like regular chicken from restaurants, and it mixed well with the tortilla and cheese. The ranch made it taste better. I. “Would you order it again?” I asked my grandma “Oh I get it all the time!” My grandma answered...

The bartender and chef were both doing the waitressing, both very friendly and professional. But they did need some help so we had a bit of time waiting. And i guess also due to the heavy workload we had a couple of miscommunications, one of them was fixed the other not, but it was a very minor issue so i wasn't really affected too much by it. The drinks were good but a bit too heavy on juice side. We stopped in from out of town and i got the little hole in the wall feel i was hoping for. The atmosphere is definitely more bar but otherwise i enjoyed the small town feel, friendly attitudes and the great food! I wouldn't recommend the seasoned fries personally they reminded me of the ones you buy at Wal-mart so not worth going out for. And for the menu items stating that a side item comes with i was surprised to see each side was actually an additional charge of $ 1.75 so that should really not say sides included or be clarified on the menu so that additional charge is not unexpected because i didnt eat my side anyway and wouldn't have ordered at all, if i knew. Their potato skins were the best I have had. Teriyaki wings were good, the chicken salad club was nice as well as their chili not being the usual runny type (which we preferred), tacos and burgers were also great! Would definitely come back again for the Food and service!!

*edit to add... We didn't see any 1.75 deductions on the bill. We didn't mention this and of course paid our ($100 final total) bill without issue, just felt that even if it were or weren't deducted that it may be nice to have clarification on the menu. I'm a person that doesn't eat my sides usually so i love that you offer that, just would have been nice to know so i didn't order thinking it was included and wasn't. And i loved that both of them had each others back! Just affected communication and our time waiting would of had us walk out because it was that extensive, if any...

Stopped by here after traveling roughly +3hr to visit Lake Jocassee with my friend. We got there at about 4PM-5PM.

Food: The food was actually really good. The pricing was awesome in comparison to other places, with the wings being a good size and the other portions satisfying. We ordered the fried mac-n-cheese bites, chicken filly with fries, and their "hot" flavored wings. The beer was also really well priced, with a bottle of Angry Orchard being

We heard that wing night at Burning Brick was a "must try", so we decided to do just that. This place is a local bar on Main Street that definitely seems like a place that has its regulars. The service was friendly and attentive. We settled in and decided on two wing flavors ro try and a couple of drinks. $3 drink specials and $.50 wings are hard to come by these days and I'd say we got our money's worth! The Cajun dry rub had a lot of good flavor. I like saucy wings, so I tried the Thai chili. I decided on these instead of the Burning Brick Signature Sauce, which was described as being like a spicy Polynesian sauce as that one sounded too sweet. Thr Thai Chili was also pretty sweet, though. Overall, it was a good experience and I am up for another trip to Burning Brick Tavern. The menu prices look very reasonable and we enjoyed the hospitality!

My family and I went into Burning Brick Tavern last night (4 kids and 2 adults) around 730pm. We ordered appetizers, fried pickle chips and fried green tomatoes, it took those 45 minutes to come out. By 830pm my 2 smallest children were very hungry and tired. We still had not received our food. My husband asked the waitress to have it boxed up to go. It took another 20 minutes for our food to come. We ordered 16 wings, a French dip, a BLT, and a plain burger. It took 1.5hrs for our food to come out, which is ridiculous considering they were not busy at all. The food did not taste bad and the waitress was very polite. However we will not step food back in this restaurant because it's not like we ordered a 5 course meal for 20 people.

Last night we went into this establishment for something new. We were served by Kaitlyn who did a wonderful job detailing the choices for us and took the time to tell us what the local favs were. The food came out hot and it was delicious. We were both very happy with our food choices and our service. We would definitely come back in again. The younger crowd that occupied the pool tables and bar area seemed to be having a great time, so it looks like this place is doing right by the patrons. See ya soon! Thanks for the great food and impeccable customer service! Update, just tried the rueben and it was the best rueben I have ever had.
