Drove over from Long Beach to support this coffee shop we saw online. Super cute and nicely decorated. Small coffee shop so parking is probably hard to find on the weekends, FYI. The coffee was good, I got the Mayan Latte which to me seems to be a Spanish latte. It was delicious and the Mayan mocha was yummy too. I would definitely come back and get drinks and pastries.
Now onto the food… I am generally very nice but I do think that honesty is the best policy and as they are a new cafe I do think there is room for improvement. The tamale was very lumpy and the texture was confusing, we almost wondered if the masa was rice based? I come from a Guatemalan background and have been to Guatemala and the tamale was just confusing to me. The chuchito’s masa was also iffy and a bit too soft for me, so it just kinda felt like not a great representation of our food. The rellenito was the most beautifully presented one I’ve ever seen, and was delicious, but also teased us with barely any frijoles. Usually that is the star of the show, so although it was delicious, I do feel that the main ingredient wasn’t present enough. Anyways, I do love what they are doing and everything from the decor, presentation and coffee was great- but the food was disappointing. I think if the food improves or if this was just an off day, it’s definitely a solid coffee shop and worth a visit...

You truly feel as if you stepped into a little café in Guatemala. The Customer Service was wonderful. The gentleman got my order 100% correct and had it ready when I arrived.
They have gourmet coffee with latte art lots of vegetarian options, and their pastry case is incredible. They have true Parisian, croissants, pies, tarts, cookies, cake, cakes.
Nothing needed seasoning. Attention was paid to every detail, and the only regret I have is that I didn’t order twice as much!
The prices are very reasonable and it is conveniently located less than five minutes off the...
Read moreWe had gone on a Saturday morning after it blew up on tik tok and waited about 45 mins for our drinks, but I believe it was worth it. It was packed but the setting is such a vibe. It was clean, good music, and comfy chairs. I say go with your phone charged, take a seat and just vibe. I understand with the sudden burst of people the employees are overwhelmed but they are doing their best to keep up with the orders and still have a great attitude! I highly recommend the Mayan mocha iced coffee! Can’t...
