Traveling through Pike County, I stayed overnight in Piketon and immediately found this wonderful coffee house and eatery just a minute from the Comfort Inn where I stayed. The store is located in a renovated old school house. It's aesthetically pleasing to one's eyes with modernized architecture, creating a laid back yet modern, appealing environment that invites you in to sit down and enjoy your favorite latte while eating one of the Village Brew's fabulous, elegant wraps or salads. While you sit, open a laptop or other device and serf on a free Internet (5G connect speed) or converse with a favorite friend. I stayed there several hours and met many new friends and it was nice to feel part of a new community even though I live a few counties over; the staff made this outsider feel welcomed and relaxed with friendliness and warmth. The service was prompt, accurate all while offering up delicious coffee or freshly made lunch dishes. The store is accessible for people with physical limitations as it has an entrance from the parking lot to their business without steps. It is an extremely clean building. There are other businesses inside, too, if you wish to shop. If you have not given yourself a break yet recently, try out an established coffee house organic to the community of Piketon where all your needs communal needs await with good people and delicious...

The vibes in the cafe itself were cozy, but very heavy on the protestant memorabilia, which could either be a major positive or negative depending on who you are. There is a very large table and free wifi which seems great for coming in to work on a laptop.
The coffee and food was decent. I'd say that for the taste and the price, I would've given 3 stars, but I had to knock off a point. Unfortunately, my friends and I all had pretty bad stomach aches all day after drinking the coffee, which was pretty disappointing.
All in all, it wasn't a terrible experience, and I also recognize that this may be one of the better (only?) local coffee shops in the area. But I definitely would not go out of my way...

They were perfectly hot and really great taste. Appreciated their carrying sugar in the raw with the sweeteners. The shop is so open and cosy that I totally didn't find the register đ thank you for being kind staff! Love it. Anyway, saving you in the favorites and we're looking forward to...
