Taco Bell — Restaurant in Piketon

Bad experience all around. Had workers installing a central air unit in my home. I decided to run to taco bell to purchase them some lunch. I was planning on ordering 10 soft tacos with plenty of mild sauce( there request) and a blue rasberry freeze. I pulled in and was going to walk in and order so I could personally grab the mild sauce to make sure I got them enough. Parked walked up to the door sign on door reads dining room closed until further notice due to lack of staff (understandable since Covid no one seems to want to work anymore) not a problem. Went back to my car and drove up to the drive through as I pulled up first thing over the speaker was welcome to Taco Bell before you order I would like to let you know we are out of all our meat we have no steak seasoned beef or chicken available right now. Nor is our Freeze machine working at this time. Me not even thinking about there being beef in tacos placed my order. He pointed out once again there is no beef ready and my tacos would only have cheese and lettuce on them. I apologized and asked them how long until you have more? He stated 12 minutes was needed to defrost it and then however long it would take to prepare my order. I told him I would circle around park and wait so I did just that. I watched my clock waited 15 minutes then circled back around to the drive through for a second time. Meat was ready so I placed my order pulled around to the window I glanced inside only to see two workers in there.The gentlemen working the drive through and a female employee preparing food. My order came out quickly I told the man I needed extra extra mild sauce for them. HeHe then begin to take more orders from the drive through as I waited for her to finish preparing my food. Didn't take long I must admit. The gentleman in the window was very nice. As he apologized once again for the inconvenience I waited for him to take my debit card for payment he did quickly and efficiency. I received all but the freeze. The food was very good and the gentleman working the window was super nice polite and very apologetic. The food turned out very good and even though they had to wait a few extra minutes they said the food was very good and if your wondering he said I gave you a lot of mild sauce like you requested I looked and yes he did! Turned out ok but was frustrating for a few minutes...

Worst experience of my life. Manager clearly wasn't ready to be running a shift. Completely messed up the order,and way over charged. Waited 15 min. For the wrong food. Asked for a refund for the over charge and the young man at the counter took the receipt and was never seen again. Waited another 15 min and had to go ask if it was ready. By this time I'm upset. Finally after standing there for another 5 minutes another young man approaches with a bag containing 2 "chili cheese burritos. (We were waiting on 3)Now by this time I'm heated. (Having 15 years restaurant management experience I know how a shift should be ran . This shift was a joke) I demand a refund. So guess what I have to talk to yet another person. Finally I'm talking to the manager. He instantly starts making excuses. I'm sorry this is a "Fast food" restaurant there is no excuse for waiting 30 minutes on 4 chili cheese burritos . Then get told I cant get a refund on the food I was charged for that I...

Walked in and all the managers and GM were having a meeting. Kids behind the counter were super nice. Manager meeting took up half the store and we sat on the other side of the room. It was super cool hearing the grown, adult women talk about how awful their children employees were. Its nice to see middle aged fast food employee having a god complex over the children they work with. I get having the manager meeting. But talking about how awful the kid employees were that loudly, with customers in there. The size and attitude of all the people at the managers table told me 2 things. They use their employee discount and they haven't lifted a finger in that store in years.

To the kids there. Great job. Find better employment that doesn't treat you like dirt. We all see the management just sitting in the small office each...
