For a Chinese restaurant, this is a very odd business concept.
When you walk in, there is no instructions on the process to order or how things work.
Each station is independent of the other, although they use the same register.
One of us wanted the buffet that is by weight, and the other wanted the Hibachi. But you have to prepay for the hibachi, and you had to load up and weigh your buffet (paid by weight). We couldn't have what we each wanted to eat together. Here is why. I wanted Hibachi. She wanted the buffet. So that would require her to weigh her food, pay for it, and then order what I wanted at the Hibachi station. It would take time to make what I wanted, so when I sit down, she would already be done.
If you want desert, that's another whole process to pay and get.
I honestly have to say this is the worst restaurant concept I have ever experienced.
I thought I was the only one confused l, and then I saw every single customer ahead and behind us equally or more confused than us.
I hope the owners read my review and make changes. If the owners wanted more repeat customers and better reviews, they should sit and watch customers walking in and their reactions (confusion). Then I hope they make changes.
It's confusing and makes no sense.
I will give it another try next month and see if...
Read moreI had an unfortunate experience at this restaurant that I feel compelled to share. I had heard about a discount they offered and, out of genuine curiosity, I asked about it. I was prepared to pay full price if the discount wasn't applicable, but the response I received was far from professional. Instead of a simple refusal or explanation, I was met with a reaction that was not just rude, but also demeaning. I felt targeted, embarrassed, and mocked for merely asking a question. The purpose of this review is to highlight that a simple "no" or a polite explanation would have sufficed. I am not a difficult customer; I typically write reviews only when an establishment either impresses me greatly or disappoints me deeply. Unfortunately, this restaurant fell into the latter category with their exceptional rudeness.
EDIT: I reached out to their Facebook page, hoping to communicate with the owners or managers who usually handle public interactions. Instead of addressing the issue, they defended the employees and justified their actions. When I pointed out their defensiveness, they denied it.I will not be dining here again, and I advise others to consider this experience before choosing...
Read moreThis is mine and my husband's favorite place to eat. They have a variety of different foods to eat and very different dessert options that are very delicious! I get the habichi when I eat here. So, I watch them cook my food through the glass. It's fun to watch and smells as good as it tastes! Way cheaper than a traditional hibachi with the same great taste. My husband gets ramen, and it's made fresh and delicious. I have tried the Thai ice cream, and it's amazing@ its also fun to watch them make it! We also eat lumpia dessert. It's so cool to watch them make that, and we crave this dessert! I highly...
