Penn Station East Coast Subs — Restaurant in Pikeville

Stop by here when traveling through. Decent for the most part although it is a little pricey for sandwiches you could get at alot of other places.

Staff is kind of...meh. One time here the power cut off to half the restaurant and instead of letting people who had food out finish the meal they paid for, they awkwardly started walking out and turning the rest of the lights off and didn't say a single word to us. They were closing in the middle of the afternoon because of a slight power issue. Yeah I understand you can't cook anymore food but at least let people finish the food they paid for and have the common curiosity to let them know you are closing early instead of leaving us...

My wife and I split a cheesesteak sub and fries. The food and service were fine, but my complaint is with the mask issue. Whether or not masks are of value, they are so only if worn over the nose and mouth. Several of the employees preparing the food covered only the mouth, or in one case neither. He was walking around with the mask covering his chin. Since the risk of viruses is from airborne droplets, food preparers should adhere to using masks properly, even when we're not...

We got 3 subs. All of our subs were jumbled with random sauces and fixings that we didn't ask for. One of the waitresses smelled like 'wacky backy'. No tables were clean, I had to go get my hand sanitizer and clean my own table. The drink machine was out of numerous drinks. And the sweet tea tasted like it was 5 days old. We drove specifically to Pikeville to eat Penn Station but we won't be back to...
