I just called and ordered the #9 for delivery. An Italian sub. It was good, but when I asked for salt and pepper, she said she would put some packets in the bag (no packets when delivered). I ordered onions lettuce, hot peppers, mayo, vinegar and oil on my sandwich. I couldn't taste vinegar and oil AT ALL AND There were tomato's on my sandwich (which I guess isn't that big of a deal, sometimes I'll order them on my subs depending on my mood) but overall a good sub, and was DEFINATELY fast delivery! If u are craving a cold sub,and u want it like... NOW... This was a good place to call! The veggies were not overwhelming, and it has plenty of meat and cheese! Read moreTheir delivery range is incredibly small, coming in at a 3 mile radius. Basically, they won't drive past the high school. This defeats the overall purpose of Jimmy John's, which is to churn out and deliver halfway decent sandwiches quickly. If I have to drive over, why would I go to Jimmy John's when Penn Station is right there? Delivery is the one edge they have, but they basically don't do it. Hopefully management figures it out, especially since the delivery limitation completely ignores the campus community, which every Jimmy John's since its inception has lived off of (even the Jimmy John's headquarters in Champaign, IL is adjacent to University of Illinois's main campus). You won't succeed if you deviate from the business model, guys.
Employees on the phone were very nice about and very aware of this limitation, hopefully management will adapt...

Im a vegan and i asked if they had a sub for vegans i was told yes well when i got my order the bread was tough and like rubber and had very little on it and didn't even have what i ask for the kicker is it had cheese on it vegans don't eat dairy. I could have went back but it's not worth it I'll just say lesson learned. The only good thing can say is that they are fast to fast in my opinion. So subway here i come and sorry for thinking Jimmy John's...
