New staff stole my mobile order. I've placed hundreds of mobile orders so I know how they work, if they're unable to fulfil the order then it just stays on the app unfulfilled or goes away. They marked the order as picked up but then didn't give me the food. They said they're out of the item I ordered, I said any item is fine. They still refused.
They helped the 3 other people in the other lane while pretending they couldn't find my order or pretending like they couldn't hear me.
I've frequented this McDonald's, mainly for coffee, almost every other day for 3-4 years. The familiar faces are gone so I suspect that's something to do with it. The other nearby McD at S. Orange Blossom Trail does the same thing. I don't know entirely what's behind that but I can guess.
Very disappointing how things have come to this. Not upset, just disappointed. You don't know me, my finances, views or background. I work hard for the money I use to place these orders. Just very shameful.
There's one other McD on Hoffner I can go to within range that I know won't do scummy things like this but I'm not feeling good at all about the current state of things. It's just a fast food restaurant but it's happened to me too many times living in the city and it reflects a larger problem.
I've filed a complaint with corporate and I won't be coming back here. The supervisor I mainly dealt with gave the name "Amanda" in a red shirt but I suspect that's not even the real name given all the other lies. This happened today 9/28/22 around 1:55pm. The forecasted storm isn't an excuse, it had not come until much later. Even so that doesn't give reason to steal, refuse to refund, deny service and allow that verbal behavior. They helped 3 other people behind me and stole my money, so there is no valid reason for it. I went to the other McD right after this and had no issues completing the order so it wasn't a company wide closing. Again I'm not upset, just sad and disappointed that people can treat others like this based on something they have no control over.
They will probably reply with some copy/paste canned response that they're willing to resolve it. If I haven't edited this part then they haven't resolved it. I'll get the refund through corporate then I'll never come back here which is probably...
Read moreThe manager on staff today at 2:30pm name was Renea. Who was extremely rude to me. I work with Uber eats, and I had a simple pick up at this location. Uber eats requires us to check and make sure that all items are with the order. I asked the young lady who was packing food, to let me check before she seals the bag, however, Renee walked over and tells me that it is against company policy for me to double check the order. I do not know the policy, however I do know that McDonald’s is notorious for leaving items out of the order. I do not believe that it is against the policy to make sure that my order is Correct. I then explain to here that it is important to make sure that my customer receives everything they paid for, So I need to check. Nevertheless she seals the bag, And refuses to reseal it if I proceed to check. I went ahead and check the food, and of course the large sprite was missing. Another employee handed me a cup so I could fill it at the fountain. This was the first Uber eats pick up From McDonald’s where I had to prepare the drink myself. I then left, and the entire walk to my truck Renee stood at the door and gave me the An evil stare all the way to my truck. The leadership at this location is very unprofessional. I don’t see the issue with wanting to make sure all the items that were paid for were accounted for. I'm a college student that just needed something quick and easy to eat before I went on my regular routine of riding the sunrail home and then headin off to work, not being hungry. Well, went in there and ordered, customer service was great, then got my food... The nuggets were cold, the fries were hard, and the tea was more sour than one of them sour candies. I then looked at the MRD (made, ready, discard) label on the tea. It was made at 0530 and was supposed to be discarded at 0830. When I brought it to the managers attention, I was very polite about it, hoping maybe they could fix it... I grew up respecting everyone but as soon as this man told me, "There is nothing wrong." Is when I absolutely lost it. He told me that the fries were naturally hard as a brick and the nuggets probably got cold from sitting on my tray... They delivered me my food then I got up to get a drink and my food is supposed to be like this? Absolutely not. They have lost my service and all of my class mates know about what happened because we usually go to lunch together, but that in itself is 14 people. We're not going to pay $8 for food that is like this... At least make sure the nuggets are warm. I could have just gotten something else to drink and told myself I dont need fries today, but seriously. Completely lost my buisness once again and I'm never going back to this location.
