Bar One Orlando — Restaurant in Pine Castle

Holy cow....this place surprised me. My family (Me, wife, 8yr old and 9 yr old) were stranded overnight with a cancelled flight and shacking up at the Days Inn down the road. We wandered into Bar One as the only viable option to spend a few evening hours (as the wife really needed a margarita). The area and the outside pictures made us skeptical....but once inside that went away. Kat behind the bar was SUPER friendly and accommodating. We had a frozen pizza and some chicken wings...nothing spectacular, but certainly suitable for us. Then we found the patio. What a great space!! Six picnic tables with light-up patio umbrellas, bag-toss, Jenga, connect-4, a fire pit with cushioned seating.

My husband and I were looking for a low key"dive" bar to relax in for a bit on his birthday. This place definitely fit the bill. It has a good selection of beer. We were there on taco Tuesday-nothing super fancy, but really delicious. We got two tacos and a pile of chips and homemade salsa for$5. This was a nice treat, as most bars like this one only offer chips or frozen pizza. The bartender, Carol, was awesome. She was very hospitable and made us feel very well taken care of. The best part was the outside backyard. It has one of the most beautiful setups ever, complete with soft AstroTurf, comfy furniture, and a fire pit. One of the great qualities of this little "Hole in the Wall Pub" is you have your great loyal regulars that welcome the 2nd great aspect is the customers/people that you get to meet from all over the world......It's just a fun place because everyone meaning the wonderful staff with their customer service, the ever so friendly regulars and the people that walk through the door just have a great time whether they're just killing time waiting to pick up somebody from the airport, stuck in the local hotel for the night till their flight or waiting to take their cruise............... I just love all the different accents and listening to their stories..... I really like being a customer but especially working at this...
