Called and told lady on the phone we were coming to get cookies and were going to be there close to closing time at 1. She said they close 1250 and don't wait for anyone. Got the 1250 took a min to snap a photo but hours all say 1pm anyone🤯. This is a place a grew up going to and loved but can't believe the customer service. Come up several times a year and so does my family. She was so rude I don't think I'll ever stop again. Miss when it was AL and running the place. At 1255 another customer also stopped by so 2 customers lost. Change your hours to match when you are open. 😡

Great bakery! Lots of options, all were delish! We got a classic choc. chip cookie, raspberry white chocolate scone(probably my favorite one ever! It was a nice shortbread, not dry & too crumbly), pecan caramel bun(also amazing, flakey, & perfect) , & a classic sprinkle doughnut. We bought a raspberry cream cheese coffee cake to grandma's & it was soooo good! All for under $13!

Our server was amazing! She was so friendly and helpful. She asked us questions and shared about the offerings of the store. She sold us a few donuts and cookies. Sadly we were not as impressed with the food. The donuts were typical and the cookies were not something to draw me back. Many people love the food here, so maybe we got a bad batch.

I've been coming here for over 50 years... since the 70s when my grandfather or father would bring us in on a weekend for donuts. Geez... where did over 50 years go? ... Depressing! :) What isn't depressing is the consistency quality, professionalism, and friendly service in this small-town bakery. Today, with new and younger ownership, it's as good or better than it has ever been. I don't get into town too frequently, but a stop in town never skips a visit. Try the cranberry bread. Good for anything, but I LOVE a BLT on that bread! Beyond the traditional bakery items, the also have coffee and a daily...

Awesome little bakery that I bring my mom and her friends at the nursing home down to on Tuesdays. Tuesdays are a big deal for the ladies, and the folks at the bakery do go out of their way to accommodate them in their power scooters.

Awesome baked goods, and won the best bakery in either America or Minnesota in 2017. Fantastic quality, shockingly cheap, and all sorts of small northern Minnesota quaitness. Stop in with $6, and get you and the kids some donuts and...
