Southern Classic Chicken — Restaurant in Pineville

If I could give negative stars I would. Food was ok, been wanting to try it for a while but a little far from the house. We'll stick with our usual from now on. 1st of all a 10 piece, 1 drink, a small fry, and small coleslaw was $36.00. Then we had to pull up and wait. After 15 to 20 minutes and 3 or 4 cars behind us had already left my husband went inside and asked what was the hold up, they had given our order to the truck behind us and forgot we were even out there. Well, my husband said as they were redoing our order why don't you throw in another small coleslaw since you messed up, the person turned around and hollered at him and that was the wrong thing to do, considering I had just gotten out of the hospital from having surgery. He hollered back and told them they weren't going to talk to him like that. Well, the gay manager came from the back and hollered at him, he told he/she to go on back to whatever they were doing and he just wanted our order. 2 guys was working on the coke machine that can vouch for the whole thing. Needless to say I/we WON'T be going back and I have and will continue to let everyone know exactly how bad the service is here. I wish I could rate higher because the food is good. But my last experience was ruined by the service.

When I got to the window to pay, I noticed that three cars were parked waiting for their food. When the employees brought the food out to them, it was clear to me they didn't who the orders were for.

The car ahead of me somehow got their food before the two others that had been waiting longer.

It also seemed that there may have been a shift change going on. If this was the case, this is really poor planning because it was around 6pm. I watched an employee show up while I was waiting for my food. She had another person with her who went inside and walked outside with food by the time I got mine. There was still a car ahead of me waiting on their food.

After finally getting my food and leaving, I noticed the drive thru was backed up into the road. When I got home I realized I got a 3 piece tenders even though I paid for 5. Also, one of the drinks was wrong.

Based on this experience, I will not be returning for a while. It's disappointing because I have had good to great service before. I hope next time there is a better and more...

I am a longtime customer and until today have never had a bad experience. The chicken was very bland, fully cooked but no flavor. The red beans and rice was not tasty plus there was little to no rice in my tub, it was like eating red bean soup. The dirty rice was not the dirty rice I’ve been for ages at your establishment, it actually looked like cauliflower rice and mincemeat, horrible, I threw the entire tub away. I don’t know if there’s new management or if the workers were still a little green. I can deal with green employees cause everyone has to learn but if my dissatisfaction today was due to management changes of the model that I love then I’m 100% sure I’ve spent $45 there for the...
