Blast & Brew American Eatery and Tap House — Restaurant in Pismo Beach

DO NOTTTTT PATRONIZE THIS PLACE!!!!!

We ended up going there for Super Bowl Sunday and it was a nightmare!

#1 We heard a commercial that they were going to have specials that day and certain prices depending on the score of the game and when we arrived we asked the waiter about the specials and mentioned the commercial to him and he said that he knew nothing about the specials and that they must be at a different location. That was the ONLY reason we went there!

#2 We were so excited when we arrived because we had never been there before. We got there really early so we could pick a great seat and ended up sitting in front of the big screen TV - which was actually 4 TVs put together. There was no sound and so we asked the waiter about it and he said that they would turn the sound up when the game started. We were bummed because there was a lot of pregame information that we really wanted to hear but we went ahead and stayed and waited patiently. Then the game started and we asked again about the TV sound and the manager (who happened to be a lady who consequently was very rude the entire time we were there) said the TV was broken. It was such a bummer to not be able to hear the game and to not be able to hear the halftime show or the commercials. We literally had to watch them later on YouTube even though - again - that is the entire reason that we went to this establishment -- to not only watch but to HEAR the game!!!! If we had known there would be noooooo sound we would have left or moved in front of a different TV.

#3 They added on a HUGE tip but also had a place for a tip on the receipt. It was only my husband and I so we thought that was strange that they added on a tip for just two people. We ended up eating the "all you can eat nachos" for $25 each and had four beers total which totaled $66 but they charged us $85! We thought that was quite strange and such a scam! The nachos weren't even that great. They were just chips in a bowl with a few toppings and they gave out little tiny carboard trays to put the nachos in.

WE WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS...

Summed up: The food was full of flavor, cooked wonderfully, the view was nice, the service was friendly and quick, and drinks were tasty. We would go back again.

Details: I ordered the Grilled Salmon Salad at our servers recommendation, and it was delicious! Grilled to perfection, moist not dry but still crispy on the outside. The appetizers were good too; I ordered the large pretzel. It was hot, soft, lightly salted, and very, very yummy.

The margarita was on the rocks, and let me tell you they don't water down the drink. Blue Raspberry lemonade Margarita was really good. Refreshing to drink on a warm day. Even the waters tasted clean and refreshing (none of that "treated" chemical taste).

Anthony took care of us. He did an amazing job. Very friendly, professional, courteous, and quick. He worked with us on our somewhat strange seating arrangement request and didn't miss a step. I would go back for sure, knowing Anthony would be taking care of us again.

The manager/owner was very cool too. He started talking to my parents took a friendly interest in them. He took time out of his busy schedule to talk to them, share a story, and in the end - even took their dirty plates. I don't see that often and I think his leadership skills definitely shine at this restaurant. He sets an excellent example. He also gave them a treat as a token of his appreciation.

All of this led to a 5 star review and a wish that we lived in the area so we could come back. We're just passing through, but if we ever pass through again, know that I'll be stopping by again for more of this. Keep up...

I had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at Blast & Brew! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The location is perfect, offering stunning views that make the dining experience even more enjoyable.

The food was simply delicious. Every dish we ordered was prepared to perfection, with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The menu offers a great variety, catering to all tastes. The pizzas were particularly amazing – crispy crust, rich toppings, and bursting with flavor. The craft beer selection is extensive and pairs perfectly with the meals.

The staff at Blast & Brew were exceptional. They were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Their recommendations were spot-on, and they went out of their way to ensure we had a memorable time.

The location of Blast & Brew is ideal. Whether you're looking for a place to relax with friends or enjoy a family meal, the ambiance is just right. Plus, the views are breathtaking, especially at sunset.

Overall, Blast & Brew exceeded all my expectations. Delicious food, fantastic staff, and a great location with beautiful views – what more could you ask for? I highly recommend this place and can’t...
