Asian Express — Restaurant in Pittsburg

Customer service here is always poor. Nasty attitudes and trying to rush you out the door, even when no one else is in there. They can't even smile at you or say have a good day back. This is my 3rd time and last time coming here. The gentleman in the photo, along with many of his coworkers have no customer service, everytime I go here. The food is alright. Idk when they switched who cooks what but some of the food doesn't taste the same as it used to. The meat is chewy, like it's pure fat. (Salt and pepper wings , BBQ ribs & the beef in the beef & broccoli) the rice tastes old and has no flavor, not to mention they put HUGE chunks of green onion in it, don't know if that's your thing but...definetly not mine. Not to mention horrible cleanliness, 2 weeks ago i came in here to get a plate and one of the ladies working there dropped some piece of food on the floor picked it up with her bare hand, grabbed a plate and then tried to serve me, I asked her if she was going to wash her hands and she said "for what" I said you just touched the ground, wdym, she rolls her eyes and turns to wash her hands, comes back and says "k, what do you want" I will be going elsewhere. $20 for a plate that I ended up trashing because all the meat I bought was fat, the rice was old and disgusting. And like i said the customer service is ALWAYS poor, so why would I spend my money here. Customers want to feel welcomed in your business not shood away. Save yourself the headache & the money and go...

Iv been to this place on multiple occasions For years... And post pandemic it's almost as if the quality has gone down. Iv had multiple people tell me they didn't like the flavor or how the chicken was soggy instead of crunchy like it should be.. so I told one of my coworkers a while back listen give it another shot. It's amazing! And he did. He was first in line. The chow mein was almost out and he got the last of the batch. Just then, new chow mein came out and I got the fresh batch. While we were eating I was happy because my food tasted good(little too much flavor but im not super picky with that). But he straight up said. This has no flavor. I then said your crazy because mine tastes good! He then tells me to try it. I have to say I spit out the chicken and chow mein as it literally had no flavor and was bland as can be. Very inconsistent with flavors when before they were really good. 😕 I hope yall can get your act together. I'm always willing to give yall another chance. But you better believe I'll wait for fresh over getting the last of...

This place is really good for the price. It's Chinese fastfood, nothing fancy, but the portions are generous and the food's about as good as you'll get at most sitdown Chinese restaurants where you would pay much more for the same thing. You can get combo plates, select about 4 items, and keep your tab under $10 per person. The service does leave something to be desired depending on who's helping you, but I've never had a "bad" experience, unless you count the server not being excited about my presence during our minute or so interaction.
