Mr. Jalapeno Food Truck — Restaurant in Pittsburg

If I could I would give it a 4.5, but I'll be nice and do a 5 star review. I went August 1st, 2020 (yesterday) with my husband and son. Location was actually pretty great because there are absolutely parking spaces around so you dont have to park at gas station pumps or take up too much room. Prices were about what you would expect from a food truck, not taco truck prices. I kept this in mind when we looked at the prices. I ordered the nachos with chicken, no jalapeños, and no salsa to share with my kid. My husband ordered a burrito with lengua. The nachos were amazing, honestly. 5/5, zero complaints. They were tasty, the chips were thick and didnt easily break when trying to pick up the food. They were $10 I believe and we looked at the small size and were a little worried, but we actually ended up having leftovers. So I would highly recommend these. Once again, food truck prices. The burrito my husband had he said was good, but not really worth driving all the way from Antioch and spending the amount on it again because he's had better for less or the same price. All in all, for the price point, we probably wouldn't come back unless we were specifically at like a food truck event where we are expecting to pay food truck prices, I'd love the get the nachos again, but I highly recommend you try this place at least once. I am new to Pittsburg and I wanted to try this place so when they were added to DoorDash, I decided this was the perfect time! I would never order from there again and based on my first time experience. I ordered a carne asada burrito and it only had about 6 pieces of steak, tiny pieces of steak at that! It was filled with mainly rice and beans, barely any steak, literally 6 small pieces of steak!!!! The pieces are cut really small and idk if it's the same dining in or if they are just trying to get over on DoorDash orders. I paid for extra sour cream and it was barely any sour cream even with the extra, it's like they used a teaspoon to put the sour cream. I felt so played getting a burrito through them, I have never had a burrito this skimpy of meat. It was okay if you want a bean and rice burrito, but if you are looking for a carne asada burrito, don't get it from here, they are charging rice and bean burritos as carne asada burritos, I am really disappointed, I woke up the next day feeling disappointed that I paid for a steak burrito and only got 6 pieces of small steak, very small steak cut into 6 pieces, that's crazyyyyy! If I could give zero stars I would the boy who took my bfs order messed up on his ordered and tried to charge me for an extra meal when I went to pick it up. I asked him what he charged me for and he said 2 tortas and 4 tacos I went back to the car to clarify with my bf and he told me he ordered one torta and 4 tacos so I went back to the boy to tell him what he said and he told me I still had to pay for the extra torta or else i couldn't get any of the food then he told me he could REFUSE my service which is BS he told me to call him back so I went back to my car to grab my phone put him on speaker and he spoke with the boy and told him what he had ordered. And he took the torta off with no issue because he KNEW he messed up he just thought I'd be desperate to pay for it all. He told me again he still has the right to refuse my service I grabbed my food and told him you dont have to worry about refusing my service since we will not be coming back. hopefully with this help hell learn not to blame the customers for his mistakes
