I was comparing a few places to take my kids for my son's 2nd birthday and although it was the farthest, it had the same rides as the other places but for the cheapest. We went on a Sunday around 2pm, big mistake because of the heat but hours are from 11am-5pm. There was parking and only a few people in line ahead of us to pay so it went quickly. Now I'm still balancing out the pro's and con's about this place to say whether or not I'll be returning. The office is only open Wednesday-Friday and any party plans if thinking about renting out the castle must be made no less then 3wks in advance! The train wasn't operating that day which was a huge bummer because that was the #1 ride we were looking forward to. From the ticket booth, hand stamper, ride operators and snack booth were ALL ran by teenagers. At least none of them appeared to be 21yrs or older but ALL polite. They offer nachos, hot dogs(of which they were out of both!), bottled water, soda, cotton candy and chips to be purchased. The park has water fountains, benches, shaded areas, public restrooms, grass areas, small ponds(for fun kid fishing) and although the park entire park itself is a pretty small area it's spaced out nicely. There is several play structures through the park including a sand area and boat. I think if you go well prepared with lunch, drinks and snacks, the expected weather in mind then you could easily spend almost all day there. Otherwise a few hours is enough time to go on every ride once(even though their unlimited), play inside and on different play structures, have a snack and quick rest up before getting ready to go. The park is only open Friday-Sunday from 11am-5pm, $6 adults(15yrs and up), $3 kids(1yr-14yr) and $3 seniors. I think I'll pre-plan for another visit, this time being well prepared and give it another good before scratching it off the never again list but I'll...
Read moreI've lived in or near Pittsburg all my life until last week I had never set foot in Small World Park. What a hidden Gem! It's like you've traveled back in time twenty years. My wife and I took our three children there. $20 total for admission and unlimited rides. It like Pixie Playland in the middle of Heather Farms. The place was clean as if they were expecting an inspection that day. We went during the week and it was not busy at all. The only criticism I have is that it was mostly ran by high school kids on summer vacation. They all had the typical "I don't know" face on. Other than that, it was purely...
Read moreSmall world park is closed to the public until March or April 2025, according to a staff member when I called. Unfortunately google maps does not reflect this.
I hosted a birthday party for my daughter when she turned 3 in April 2023. Two out of the 4 rides were closed (train and carousel), and we weren’t given any notice beforehand. Everyone still had a good time since most kids met the height requirement. If kids are too tall for the whale 🐳 ride, they cannot get on.
Overall a great place for young kids to play. The price is right. Just confirm they are open before...
