I have been eating at Bob's grill for approximately 50 years. My ex-husband and I would get up as early as we could in the morning on Saturday and Cody to Bob's Grill and drink coffee and eat eggs... (His over medium and mine over easy every other weekend they got them switched.) There's a wonderful young man that worked as a busboy I believe you was related to someone that work there and he was wonderful and tip him $20 every time you brushed your table. Now, there's a wonderful waitress named Angie. Ask for her every time you go in. She's a gem! She's a charm! She's the Harvey Wallbanger of waitresses! She makes me remember when I would go to Otto's my grandmother would serve as my grandmother taught me that part of customer service was actually service to the customers. My grandmother was one of the smartest people I've ever met. She needs you to charm she needs to be Stern to she knew who to give extra Gladys to honor the burger because she's dieting. And she's just the same. I I can't stand communal ketchup. The crest round the top no matter how hard you cleaning grosses me out so much that I will not share the table with the ketchup bottle on it. The last two times I've been there and she has moved three ketchup bottles as we will move to go sit down because we weren't being directed. Glass when I got up and moved over to another table into my past and let the ketchup and gave me a Glare. I challenge you to pet her $5 that she won't remember if not your name your order or how you liked especially done. (And be a chap if she gets if you wrong pretend she's right and give her the 5 she deserves.
Bob's grill is ambience about stepping back into the 50s when people smoke to tables or wait was that the 70's. Slip out your vape and drink the black coffee that you would have sworn my grandmother had originally started serving what 50 years ago, and blow a secret thick plume of smoke and taking my grandmother smoking while serving she never did. But I like...
Read moreI remember when I first bit into one of Bob's burgers, fresh off the hot plate and dripping with cheese. Suddenly my world was filled with the sound of singing birds, spring breezes, and I saw in color for the first time. I reached the pinnacle of existance when I shoved the first fork-full of breakfast skillet into my watering mouth, and by the time I finished eating, my life had no further purpose. I was forever changed, and born anew with each subsequent visit to this great plains oasis. This place is a temple disguised as a hipsters paradise, with a 160 degree altar to the gods of umami. Seek no more, pilgrim, for...

I've lived in Pitt for nearly a year now, but had never eaten here due to my rarely being awake during breakfast hours. However, I finally had the chance to to visit this morning...
And man, OH MAN was it worth it: the food was absolutely PHENOMENAL, the coffee deliciously brewed, and the chocolate milk was something that dreams are made of. I will definitely be visiting for breakfast every chance I get in the future!
