Kazoku Sushi & Hibachi — Restaurant in Pittsburg

Edit: Tried it again after a few months, and I WAS NOT disappointed! Devon was just attentive enough without being overbearing, the food was quick and fresh (and delicious!) The prices are comparable with other Japanese restaurants in the area (i.e. Joplin). Definitely a keeper for a special treat.

Original review: I decided to try the new sushi place after the last one crashed. I didn't have high expectations. They crushed it. I got a chicken teriyaki bento box. It comes with onion soup, four pieces of California roll, rice, two Gyoza, and of course chicken teriyaki with vegetables. They were cooked perfectly. The vegetables were still firm yet tender, the chicken was at that perfect temp where it was fully cooked and still juicy, and the teriyaki sauce was delicious without being overpowering. The service was quick and very friendly without being overbearing, and the chef himself came out to check on all of the patrons. Overall, if I could rate MORE than 5 stars, I would. Definitely...

I brought my husband here for our anniversary/ his birthday. Waitress was pleasant and food was delicious. He got the steak and chicken hibachi with goyza as an appetizer. He said it was really good. I got the chicken hibachi with the California roll as an appetizer. Unfortunately, the hibachi arrived and i still did not have my California roll. I reminded the waitress and she went to check on it. It was made and brought out within a few minutes. That was our only issue and it was fixed quickly. This was our first trip to Kazoku. Went from a recommendation from my boss and couldn't be happier with the whole experience. I ordered the Chicken Fried Rice and hubby got the Spicy Yellowtail roll, we split and order of Gyoza. Mine came with the onion soup which was very good and the temperature was perfect. The Yum Yum sauce was exceptional as well. Isaac was our server and he was off the charts. The quality of the food compared to the price was beyond expectations. I will get at least 3 meals out of my Chicken Fried Rice. So thrilled to see a restaurant of this quality in Pittsburg. We will be...
