My review will start with 5 Stars because I'm not reviewing the restaurant yet. Rather, I'm reviewing the "reviewers".
I've checked other restaurants and grocery stores and all the 1 star reviewers can also be found giving 1 star ratings at multiple other places.
They are "complainers"! They complain about service, food, utility bills, medical bills, he's stress 3, deliveries, etc. They are very, very, very unhappy people with a LOT of unresolved issues and they act out by causing unnecessary and justified suffering and pain to others, not individuals said businesses. To not be able to complain, for them, would be equivalent to having no money and be in horrible physical and emotional pain at the same time.
They are the reason why so many people people suffer on the world and they eventually will go to the place they don't believe in by the God they don't believe in. This complaint space is their only heaven.
They are unable to see how much they complain and it is impossible to reason with them. If they were not here it would seem more like a euphoric environment.
ALWAYS look 1 star reviews and those who wish they could give "negative" stars. They are the ones in taking about. They are like the 3000 that God struck down in the desert and they are usually humanists. Cant run from the truth. Observe, and do the math. You will see that in correct.
These complainers will be very upset with me after reading this review because they know it's true.
Statically speaking, these complainers are usually democratic or don't vote at all. Additional note: Because these same people complain about Walmart delivery (because they "hate" shopping and are unusually lazy, PLEASE read product reviews carefully on Walmart because all the 1 star ratings are for delivery and not the actual product, because again, they "don't care" about TRUTH. They are completely and utterly selfish and should be shipped to an island where they call all live together.😁 Give this restaurant an honest try, and remember... No one is 100%, 100% of the time, which includes them. And secondly, try to think the "best" about people and organizations BEFORE...
Read moreFrom my current years of going here, i can safely say its cheap, the people are nice, that cashier that was high that one day is gone and there are new people working.
The food is almost always great, there are times its worse than other times, and some times its much better and really good. I think it really just depends on the mood of the cooks, and the current cooks that day/shift, overall i give the food a great rating no matter what bc even on its bad days its still great.
The cashiers at the drive thru window are nice, sometimes i wonder if they really care to be there or not. The main girl cashier thats there the most is really nice and is good at her job, the newer people i feel could up their game a little bit, but that is to be expected from newer people of course.
The time it takes to get out food has been upwards of an hour with only 4 cars in the drive thru... which is insane, and especially when they arent busy inside as well, and it still takes nearly 45 minutes for just a few cars to get through. So if youre thinking you are going here for your lunch break, think again, theres no way that youre getting your food before your lunch is over or about to be over, especially if there are any cars at all in the drive thru.
Now those rumors i have heard about roaches in food and around the store, absolutely not true from my own experience of about 4 or 5 years of going there, maybe even longer, but i dont keep full track, but i havent seen any type of bug in my food at all, from years, not once, so all those rumors can go out the window
Overall for lotus in general, i really wish you could pick your speed up, its nerve racking when i think i have time to get food and have to be in work in an hour and a half and it takes 45 minutes to an hour to get my food so i have to rush home and eat, other than that, i think lotus is great and will absolutely continue eating there until they decide they want to close... which almost happened, and i was super sad because i love this place, but then they took down the sign and said they are going to continue for about another year...
Read moreI would give a higher overall rating however, the restaurant has been cutting back on the amount of sweet and sour sauce they give the customer with an order of Crabrangoon. This is a big issue for me because they used to give us a full containers worth of sauce. I would split the sauce between my order of crabrangoon and the 4 egg rolls I always got. The amount of sauce they gave was perfect for my order and I came to rely on it. They started only giving half a container of sauce and when I asked them about this issue, they responded with they cut back the amount of sauce for safety reasons. Apparently a full container's lid would occasionally pop open and spill hot sweet and sour on the customer. I see how that could be an issue but to honor the amount of sauce they used to give the customer, all they need to do is give 2 half full containers. Instead, they only give the 1 half full container and call it good. You have to specifically ask for a second half full container and even then, you aren't guaranteed they will give it to you. I have asked in the past for the second half full container and they have forgotten it often. I have also had times where they said that to get the second half full container they would need to upcharge me. This is ridiculous. They used to give a full container worth of sauce with no prompt or upcharge. Now they are content only giving half the amount. I know this may seem like a silly issue, however, as someone who relied on getting a full container of sauce with my order, this has really messed with me. It should not be my responsibility to ask every time for a second half container of sauce. They should be giving everyone 2 half containers of sauce with no upcharge. That way they would still be honoring the amount they used to give us and solving the safety...
