My British husband and I spent 2 weeks in Pittsburg and discovered this “European“ gem. We spent eight lunchtimes here because of the excellent fresh soup combos (paired up with varying fresh salads or melted cheese, ham & cheese or turkey & cheese sandwiches). Oh, let me not forget to mention the variety of delicious coffee options and fresh desserts. Exceptional quality of ingredients and such a bonus to have wonderful, friendly staff to serve us. Music isn’t too loud so you can have a quiet conversation. One lunchtime there was a live local band playing to a packed audience which was very pleasant. The internet has brilliant speed which is very unusual. I was able to watch a Netflix film without any buffering! A STUNNING little coffee shop with a roasting area in the back! They source their beans from all over the world & roast them here! The coffee menu is extensive & they offer all types of syrups and milk options. Whole milk is standard, but they also have skim, oat milk, and almond milk. Upon entering we were greeted kindly by the barista who explained the menu. We chose several drinks and enjoyed them in the beautiful area with the plants and the sunshine. I had a need for some good comfort food as I had just been dismissed from the hospital. I remembered a good friend telling me about the wonderful food this place has. I had the Ham and Swiss Panini, with the Homemade Potato Broccoli Cheese soup with Bacon for that just right seasoning taste. Followed by the best cup of Dark Roast Coffee. Let's just say it was "Just what the Doctor had Ordered". I did order this to go. Which was packaged very well, keeping everything nice and hot. But I can't wait until I can go back...
