It was our 1st time here, not happy with the food or space. When I was served, I felt that food had too much salt on anythingthatwe ordered.. I didn't like that . I ordered serval things from the menu with family. My food was overcooked steak and eggs. My eggs were brown and not yellow. We ordered country potatoes and eggs the same over cooked potatoes were a little burned. French toast was undercooked when I got to the center it was a soggy feeling in my mouth. Had to spit it out. Club sandwich had ham, turkey, bacon, swiss cheese, and american craft cheese. Along with the condiment. Mixing those cheese together didn't taste well. The chicken sandwich was overcooked. Funnel fríes tasted the best but still had too much salt. Rib bye steak and eggs. Didn't finish eating it. We weren't happy with how it tasted to salty. Ham scramble, not yellow eggs more so color brown. As if cooked in same oíl as every thing else. We weren't feeling the flavor of the food. We left unsatisfied and didn't like how somethings were made and the flavor tasted. The cook uses a lot of salt. Maybe just add a little, and we can adjust it afterward to our like of how much salt we want to add to it. Not satisfied with how the food tasty or how it was cooked. Not coming...
Read moreWhat a great place! While scrolling through options for breakfast at 8 AM, I stumbled upon this place on Yelp. I won't lie, their proximity to Steeltown Coffee is one of the reasons I decided on it. Now that I know how good it is, I'll definitely be back next time just for the food!
Walking into the restaurant felt like stepping into "Grease" - old style chairs and counters, bold and pop colors. The funny signs on the wall and the mural of Pittsburg kept my brother and I occupied laughing while we waited for our food!
I got the churro waffle with eggs and sausage, and my brother got The Cure with chicken fried steak. Both were delicious! The cinnamon cream cheese frosting on my waffle was perfect, the sausages were piping hot, and paired with coffee my morning was complete!
All of the people were very attentive, and came by with coffee multiple times. Food came out within five minutes, though we were also fairly early in the morning. By 9 AM, the place was pretty full! Definitely the best place to bring family and friends for a...
Read moreMy wife and I took a random road trip/weekend to Pittsburg. We were looking for a good place for lunch until our hotel room was ready. Saw this place had good reviews so we decided to try it. Me, being a burger guy, was anxious to see if it lived up to the good reviews. It did! From the 50’s diner style feel to the availability of breakfast all day on the menu, I thought this place was really good! I even recommended it to some friends back home. The burgers are served on Texas style toast, which made it more like a patty melt. Still yummy though! And unique! The server even suggested my wife try a mixture of mayo and bbq sauce to dip her sweet potato fries. Good suggestion! Although it’s definitely a place the locals hang out, we’d go back for sure the next time we’re...
