The food is mostly good. Skip the salads they are bad, always drenched in dressing with wilted produce and served warm. The menu is very large, probably too large for the size of their kitchen and staff. I don't think they are able to manage the size and scope of the menu.
The front of the house is very disorganized. The staff look like they really want to work hard they just don't have any direction on how a restaurant should flow.
I almost always order delivery, last time I ordered pickup I arrived at the suggested time on slice and was told it would be another 45 minutes. They missed items I had to show them the receipt on my phone to prove that I had even ordered and paid for it, because "their" receipt didn't show the items. They gave me a slice of cheesecake to makeup for the delay (side note from a previous order I can tell you I would never order their cheesecake its probably the worst in town but their cannoli are great so if you order dessert get the cannoli skip the cheesecake).
Tables are never bussed when busy. If you walk in during a busy time expect to sit surrounded by dirty dishes. In a run down dining area with torn vinyl seats. A whole section of the dining room has stacks and stacks of papers.
Last time I ordered from slice.com The whole experience from time of placing the order to getting the last item I ordered was 135 minutes. Expect to wait, expect items to be wrong, always check your order.
This place could be great if they had better management...
Read moreSmall, family owned, friendly, cozy place to eat. Napoli's has been my absolute favorite place to eat on one of our occasional dining out meals, for years. Their menu has so many choices. Italian style dishes include pastas, soups, seafood, fish, steaks, sandwiches, pizzas, and so much more. The menu also has a kids menu with a variety of choices, lunch menu, and dessert menu. Lunch comes with complimentary soup or salad, and rolls. Lunch prices are discounted from the dinner menu price. While you wait, they serve unlimited freshly made delicious dinner rolls, on the house. Nonalcoholic beverage purchases include free refills. They have specials with all ingredients listed for each item, that they write on a large whiteboard near the register counter. The two of us can eat lunch for the same price that we do at a fast-food chain place, and leave with a to-go drink and leftovers box! The difference is that we sit down at a table in a cozy restaurant and enjoy real food. Your food is freshly prepared right when you order, so there is a wait. This isn't fast-food. It's not a place to stop for a quick bite to eat. It's a place to stop and enjoy your company and your freshly prepared, delicious meal, in a very nice atmosphere, served by friendly staff.
No matter how much I tell you about this wonderful place, you will never know what I'm truly describing. So, you should go there and enjoy this experience for yourself. 😉 Always tip your servers. Especially, when they are having...
Read moreThis place needs some serious Italian love put into it. If I could give it 0 stars, I would. We were visiting Pittsburgh from out of town and decided to try it for dinner. There were 2 cars in the parking lot and I should have taken that as a sign to run. When we entered, there was only 1 other table occupied. The restaurant was dated, but sometimes the run down establishments are the best, so we tried to remain positive. The kitchen staff was all standing around in the back staring at us as we entered the restaurant. It was extremely awkward and an uncomfortable atmosphere. The waitress immediately brought bread and we ordered drinks. The bread was dry and looked like it was 3 days old. For us to not finish off a bread basket is rare, but we let most of it untouched. Our appetizer was not good. The marinara dipping sauce tasted like it was half ketchup and poured from a can. Eventually our food came, I say eventually because based on the lack of customers and the kitchen staff standing around, it took way too long for our food to be delivered. The food lacked any excitement. The plates looked bland and it was more of the same in taste. The cheese ravioli had the same canned sauce used in the appetizer. The Alfredo sauce was thin, milky, and flavorless. Perhaps Napoli’s should focus more time on making their food taste better than updating their “Joke of the Day” board at the...
