So far my two experiences here has been hella good! The bread comes out freshly baked and glistening with butter and syrup or whatever thatâs on there. I was there last Sunday when this man yelled at the lady giving the orders. He said âWhereâs my bread!!??â And then proceeded to argue with the lady that she took his order and that the woman after me had gotten her bread. She didnât take his order but he kept arguing that she did. She then told him that that lady did not get bread and that she got donuts . It was hard to tell the cashier apart from the person giving away the bread because they all had masks on and similar hair.
He was upset because he thought the woman after me came out with two boxes of señorita bread but it was actually donuts. A few seconds after him being rude and making a scene he received his order. His son who was about 12 years old said, âSEE DAD! You didnât have to do that!â Lol. The woman and I laughed. The dad never apologized!!
We hoped that âmanâ learned a lesson! But I doubt it. He was so mean! Iâm just happy to know that his son is not like him.
Him being rude wasnât necessary. I too wondered if the woman after me got señorita bread, but I thought maybe she ordered it before I got there and was just picking it up. I didnât go crazy like that man. If I was that curious, I would have simply asked for the status of my order. Not yell out âwhere is...

Even the most staunch non-carb folks lose their minds. They sell the señorita bread in small bundles or rather large batches. When you open the box of señorita bread, the aroma of fresh yeast, sugar & butter just wafts into your face until you take a bite. You close your eyes and go âMmmmm!â You will have lost your mind because you want more. I remember when Star Bread was in Vallejo, all the older Filipino clients would line up to get their fix. The consistency of the franchises have proven to be on point. As for their other offerings, all quite delicious! This store offers a spinach & cheese croissant? O.M.G. I picked up one because I wanted savory versus sweet. If you donât know about Star Bread, you need to go find out. If youâre late for a gathering & in the neighborhood? You can pick up a bag of 6 or up to a box of 100 señorita bread- no one will be mad at you unless you run out. Staff is nice & friendly. Go get you some señorita bread. Tell your friends! Bring some home to your family. Theyâll love you....
Read moreI don't know why this place doesn't put enough of the sweet sauce or whatever it is, in the star bread. My son picked some up for the family and they were so dry, barely any sauce which left no flavor. I've mentioned this to the employee working there a long time ago and he says he hears the opposite, people tell him it's too much. I guarantee you, it's not. Not nearly enough. Go to the next nearest location to get some, you'll see AND taste the difference. It's too bad bc every time we give it another try hoping it would be different, it's always the same or worse than before. We really like star bread and would order more often but it's not worth it, you're not getting that sweet flavor that's supposed to come with the bread. I really wish they would change it and add more. It's probably cost saving to them by using less ingredients but it's completely changing the product.. Not worth the savings when it's deterring people from buying. My whole family noticed without me even saying anything. Ages 7 - 40 +... How could they all say the same thing if it...
