Inadequate stock was disappointment, when I was looking for an independent jumpstarter and I bought one without lithium batteries inside. I then returned it, once I had researched available ones online. Prices quoted for an alternator to replace my failed one were deceiving... "New" vs. " Refurbished" were deceiving terms, as there are no truly NEW alternators for my older Acura. All are refurbished, which I determined with a little research and some common sense. I am a senior, disabled customer, who happens to be female. That does not mean I'm brain dead, just unfamiliar with automobile repair. I feel your staff tried to take advantage of me. I bought a refurbished alternator from a competitor with a LIFETIME guarantee and it was at the lowest price Autozone quoted to me. Read moreWent into AutoZone to ask about a car cover. There was a lady wearing grey shirt without a name tag behind the register who asked me if she could help me. I went up to the register and she asked me mutiple times "what car did you say that was?" "what model was that again?" She then turns the monitor around towards me to, I assume to do what she was hired to do. So together we finally found that there was one showing in inventory. I asked her for the part number and she sent me down the car cover isle and it wasn't there. I saw one on top of the top shelf and requested help with a ladder. Again not there. I asked all the employees to help and only one was willing to help when I asked, "who is your Manager?" He reluctantly called other stores of 3 or 4, after I requested they search other places in the store or call other stores. Truly exhausting going into AutoZone to shop. 10/22/2023...
