Art's Tavern — Restaurant in Pittsburgh

Very nice. Too small to accommodate the large crowd though. State Police welcomed me at the door. Checked my ID and patted me down. I appreciate the security. Nice people, everyone was friendly. Upscale African American bar. Drinks are very cheap, $2.90 for a bottom vodka. I just wish they would get a bigger location. It would really be the ish. Seems that people have been going here for years and say it wouldn't be the same if they changed locations. How about another establishment close by called Arts II since the crowd is so large. Just an idea.

I've been going to Art's for 20yrs.... I haven't been there in a long time recently, but it remains festive... The black cheers if you will.... It's very tight and not a lot of room to move, but the drinks are right and the bartenders are attentive.... Fellas there's ladies and ladies there's fellas... Always a mixed bag of hood and bougie and thighs in between... All in all, it's a good time.... Busy on the weekends, so there may be a line, get there before 10... Just a suggestion... On another note.... Your gonna walk out sideways... You don't leave there with less...

I've been going to that place for the past 6 years and now I can say it's my favorite place to go to have one of the best drinks in all Pittsburgh and at a great price can't beat that and the chicken wings are so delicious as well and shout out to the beautiful lady bartenders that works there they're the best of...
