We go to Frank Curto Park to see the French Fry sculpture called "Pittsburgh" by metal sculptorJohn Raymond Henry and to enjoy the wide vista of Pittsburgh's east side from above. The sculpture is accoustically fun to beat out music on. The park entrance from the west bound Bigelow Blvd is unmarked and very rough so put your blinker on early once you spy the yellow sculpture in the distance. The driveway is full of deep, wide ruts and not maintained. Lots of Oak Trees but no benches, no picnic tables nor seating areas. It's such a hidden gem in Pittsburgh and not easy to get to considering you can only get to it from 380 heading towards the city, not to mention that the entrance way isn't necessarily passenger car friendly.
