Capri Pizzeria and Bar — Restaurant in Pittsburgh

Wow, I am very pleasantly surprised by this place! Some of the listed photos of their food didn't look that great, but I figured I'd still give Capri a try. So glad I did. I ordered the cheese rolls (pepperoni rolls without pepperoni, just cheese) and the French toast sticks.

When I got the French toast sticks, I thought I was given someone else's order. The box was huge! I assumed these would just be a few small sticks. Instead, I got a mini pizza size of French toast bread sticks! It basically bread topped with cinnamon sugar and icing, but dang is it delicious. I also assumed this would just be microwaved toast, but to my surprise, it was homemade! So much sugar and plenty of icing provided (icing on the side). Love these French toast sticks.

The rolls were pretty good, but it was the French toast that was outstanding. Rolls were filled decently with cheese and came with two small containers of sauce. Sauce was sweet, but also had onion and was definitely homemade as well. Portion size is decent for the price. You will get 6 rolls.

All in all, I wasn't expecting much from this place. The French toast sticks truly blew me away with their quality, especially for such an incredible price and amazing portion! Definitely get those if you like sweets. The rolls were...

Ordering takeout, the lady answering the phones had an attitude like she didnt want to be there, so immediately offputting. Asked for a side of meatballs which is not on their menu...took awhile and much more complexity to make this happen. Husband wanted wings and they only have whole wings and no buffalo sauce fyi...and charge 60 cents for a side of marzetti blue cheese. We wanted so bad for this place to be our pizza and wing place but no go. Pizza was terrible, and meatballs clearly frozen...not authentic italian fresh homemade as they claim to be. I get that a,side of meatballs are not on the menu but if i ordered the pasta dish with these meatballs it would have been worse. 5.50 for 4 frozen meatballs is robbery. If they were authentic italian meatballs that price is ok. Wings ok, but call them what they are....fried chicken, not "wings". Cant wait for east liberty to get a pizza and wing joint with good meatballs worth getting about excited...

I used to love capris and the food is still pretty decent since they moved. One is how do your 2 liters still come hot. I don't understand why I am paying for hot food with a side of hot pop. I ordered food on a Friday night. My food was not right. I called to inform them of it and they gave me a credit opposed to coming back out that night because they were so busy I would have to wait another hour. I called back two days later and was told I would have to pay a delivery fee to receive my credit. I do not feel as though that is right if I would have demanded they brought my food back that night there would have been no extra delivery fee but because I was nice enough to allow them to just put it as a credit then to make them come back out now I am now being charged an additional fee. I feel if your business delivers then you need to guarantee you have the order right or take all responsibility for the...
