9/22/2025 So I previously left a 5-star rating on this place (see below). Today I am leaving a 1-star rating. I ordered from Honeygrow's online menu and used DoorDash (over $75).
On Saturday 9/20/2025, I ordered 4 things, one was a seasonal Buffalo Ranch Stir Fry. Everything we ordered was perfect except the Buffalo Ranch which didn't come with Ranch Drizzle, crumbled Blue Cheese, crispy jalapeños or the buffalo sauce. Basically I got dry stir fry.
I tried to call Honeygrow but every time I called that night it rang through I got hung up on. I called Honeygrow today and talked with DJ. I was told I needed to get refund through DoorDash (which I have). DJ also told me that the Buffalo Ranch was a seasonal item and Honeygrow didn't have the necessary addons, SO HONEYGROW in their infinite wisdom instead of cancelling the one part of my order sent me a dry stir fry. Cause of course I would "love" that. Cause most people when they order a cheeseburger will be happy with a hotdog instead.
I love their food but I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE. When a company makes a conscious decision to knowingly send the wrong and/or inferior order you have lost my business. 1 month ago 5 star rating below
First time EVER at Honeygrow and 💯 for sure will not be the last time!!!!! The food was AMAZING!!!!! Even though they were busy the service was top notch!
Shout out to Ebony! She helped us navigate the ordering kiosk, brought us our food, answered all our questions, and discussed how healthy & fresh their menu items are. Which we really appreciated. Her smile and friendly demeanor put Honeygrow over the top!!!!
Do yourself a favor and check this place out! You won't be...
Read moreThis place beautifully encapsulates everything wrong with our society right now.
The setup practically forbids you from interacting with a human. Order on a screen while disinterested employees loiter nearby. Enter your phone number. Dodge ads and upsells on the touch screen. Tap to pay. You get a text telling you someone is working on your order. You look up. Nobody is working on your order. Can you ask them to start? You saw the ticket print out. The employees seem determined to loiter. Maybe wipe off an already-clean surface.
Oh! The manager yelled at them. They're working on the order now. That means pulling ingredients out of a bucket and placing them into a container. It feels like this whole restaurant, if you can call it that, was designed as if humans are machines who either produce or consume food. This restaurant is a contact doordash delivery, in person.
As you wait for your food to finally be begrudgingly handed to you, you reflect on the final screen you quickly passed through. They asked for a tip. And you gave one, because it felt right. Because you just know the owner is paying these people poverty wages until they can be replaced by a robot.
This feels like a ghost kitchen that accidentally got a walk in customer. The corporate-friendly graphics and interior design do nothing to hide the truth of the experience, instead strengthening it's dystopian potency.
Portions were tiny for the price.
I have to assume this is a private equity squeeze. No self respecting human being would ever design such an outright insulting excuse for a restaurant. Do not patronize this place, in hopes that it ends up a failed investment on some out of state...
Read moreWent there by chance and it was very clean. The food was very good and the salads were a nice size. All service is self service though. You order on a touch screen, they text you to pick the order up, you get your own fountain drink and take your dishes up when done to an area. This isn't necessarily a bad thing but makes it hard to say how the staff is and takes away from it being personal. For me when I go out to eat I like things to be more personal etc... or I could just be home waiting on myself but again that is me.
The main reason for the four stars instead of five though is when the food is ready the salad bowl etc...is left sitting open where others are picking up too, whether to dine in or take out. I found it sort of gross to have general people from the public reaching over my open salad to pick up their food. I know staff in a restaurant may not be but are at least suppose to be clean (and they did look it here) and following safety protocols for food handling unlike the general public. Not implying people are generally dirty but just being outside and about who knows what could be on say a jacket sleeve then outstretched over the food.
Otherwise this was a nice place and the salad was very good, it just wasn't a place for me but you...
