Nothing like ducking into a coffee shop for that first time and getting spoiled from the get go. I lucked out big time this morning on a cold windy day in the burgh. Centred Coffee is a special oasis to get what you need & take with you or better yet enjoy in the beautifully thought out & comfortable environment that made feel as though I was more in someone's living room than in a retail coffee shop. Could I be in Paris or Rome relaxing in a neighborhood cafe? Maybe. Let yourself be the guide. Come relax. Enjoy a cuppa with a baked goodie. Share a conversation with the barista who is knowledgeable, amendable to making what you like, knows coffee and a great resource on local roasters and charming to talk to! I had great drip coffee for $2 that put that St****k place to shame. Think local, support local. Come try this place out! Thanks for grinding my beans from RedStart beans I bought. The only Smithsonian Migratory Bird Center's Bird Friendly Coffee Certification I know of, some amazing sustainable growing practices! Thanks Centre Coffee for supporting such good companies ❤️

It’s a very tiny coffee shop, but they probably have my favourite drink in all of pittsburgh. Their almond torte coffee is to die for, and I still think of it to this day. It is creamy and delicious, and the form on top itself is magical. I would have it every day if I could. The space itself is quite intimate and communal. There is very limited seating, so you might have to share your table with somebody else in a communal sort of set up. There are lots of games on Offer and I saw couple families playing board games. This cafe actively discourage you from using laptops and working from there. So if you are planning to work, this might not be the place for you. But if you’re planning to come here and enjoy a delicious coffee along with your favourite book, you are in the right place. I would avoid their pastries. It was just meh.

This is my absolute FAVORITE coffee shop, I think....ever. Their coffee is such high quality, delicious, & made with so much love. Also, their cold foam never dissolves, so you can enjoy it for hours (unlike most other locations - but drop the names if true). I'm obsessed with their chocolate almond iced coffee, but they also have so many other unique & delicious drinks. It is very clear that the barristers there are passionate and knowledgable about the ingredients they use/drinks & food they make. They also have cashew, sesame, & almond milk. I have even had people stop me & say "where is that coffee from?? it looks fire." IT IS. I also got this cute little art piece from there too!
