Gusto's Pizza & Salad — Restaurant in Pittsburgh

We loved Vinny's. It was a go-to for us and had some of the best wings in town. We were disappointed to hear that someone else had taken over, but figured we'd give it a try. The first bad occurred when we placed our online order only to get a call that they don't have sausage as a topping for their pizza. WHAT PIZZA PLACE DOESN'T HAVE SAUSAGE???

Further, the new recipes? Not good. Not bad, but Vinny's was way, way better. This was edible. We enjoyed it such as it was, but not enough for Gusto's to remain a go-to. Their wings were NOT what we wanted. I ordered mild buffalo wings and they were covered with some sort of pink-ish sauce that I THINK was buffalo ranch? I didn't order buffalo ranch. I ordered BUFFALO wings. Sad.

Maybe we'll give this place another go after they've been running a while and have a chance to dial in their recipes more. Or if they get wise and go back to the Vinny's recipes. But for now? We're going to move to Antonio's, which is more...
