The food was good, the service was good, the place was very busy. One of the waitresses (maybe the host, maybe manager who was anything but professional), Sharna, asked an elderly couple to leave because there was a line (4-5 people) and she loudly said to them, I need you to leave. We need the table." I get it but she didn't need to be rude. The couple was holding on to each other's arm as they walked out so they wouldn't fall as they had a little difficulty walking. The tables were turning over quickly and everyone in that line was seated quickly, within 4 minutes. There was a man sitting at a table across from me, who had finished eating, and he was just sitting there. He came in before me, was finished eating before me and continued to sit there for at least 20 mins, talking on and off to our waitress (whom he appeared to know). He was still sitting there/talking when I left. The waitress he was talking to was also my waitress and she was very good, tentative and able to keep up with all her customers. Sharna never once said anything to this man. The booth he was sitting in was the same size as the one that the senior couple had been kicked out of. I felt bad for the older couple because they were at the 2-seater table and tables were turning fast and they looked like they were somewhat embarrassed by this. Give old people a break. Many of them don't eat as fast, they don't digest as fast and they don't walk as fast. You will be in their...
Read moreI came here for the first time 3 weeks ago and fell in love with this family diner. I am a student with HVAs emt academy and only have an hour to eat and my instructor recommended to come here so I did. The atmosphere is amazing and gives classic cozy diner vibes. I’m always greeted by the friendly staff right away and politely told I can choose where I sit at. The food here is amazing and always fresh and hot. Even when their busy my food comes out fast and fresh ever time with the best tastes ever. The prices are incredible 12 dollars for a massive meal that comes with soup and another side for one person is a deal you can’t beat. The wait staff is always friendly and checking up on me and others eating always asking how things are and if we would like refills. The buser is super nice to. He always asks how my day is going and is swift to clear things away I don’t need anymore which is nice to save table space. Over all of you want a great place to eat that’s fast convenient fresh and friendly you want to come here. This is hands down the best diner I’ve had the pleasure of eating at multiple times now. And dare I say I would even drive the 40 minutes from my house in canton to come here for...
Read moreThe waitresses can come off as rude but really they may be overworked. $12 for scrambled eggs (because they charge by the egg 🤦🏾♀️ ) and I think by the cheese too not sure and a small little mini coffee. SMH. Disappointed because I worked and I still work in the serving industry. They have no time to talk to you (just want to make money for the business). However, for this amount of money because dang they’re expecting a tip too for carry out (I know this because again, I worked as a server), at-least speak to your customers.
Update, also I asked for a receipt to see all what was charged to my card and the second waitress because the first one walked away printed me an...
