Unsatisfied with our stay for many reasons. The first reason is because we picked this hotel because of the promise of the shuttle to the Art Festival, and it was listed NOWHERE on the website that the shuttle was running ONLY two times (10 and 11). The fact that it is only running twice for drop offs and twice for pickups is NOT OK. Secondly, the person who checked us in (around 12:30-12:45 on Saturday) was not helpful or really that friendly. She was unaware of ANY other place around the very busy and large area of Ann Arbor that we could take a shuttle to get to the Art Fair (which there were at least 10-12 different places that we found prior to taking an Uber and having to pay to get ourselves to the art fair). Third, the room was $250 a night, which is an exorbitant amount of money for the tiny room that we stayed in. Fourth, the breakfast wasn't the greatest either. The water was not cold at all either. Fifth, in our room, there is nothing that makes this hotel special from any other. There is no real "hotel book" that you see in EVERY other GOOD hotel. We did see that there was the one that you could scan, but it barely told us ANYTHING. Sixth, the bathtub water pressure was slow and took forever to fill up. Seventh, there were no amenities in the hotel room/hotel to make it feel homey or home-like. There were no glass in the entire hotel to use according to the not helpful front desk concierge as well as very little cups or bathroom needs in our room. There was no table/chairs or even any place to "move around" in our room. Overall, we were promised a shuttle when we arrived there (That was a fall out and blatant oversight because NOWHERE on the website does it mention ANYWHERE about a time of the shuttle, which says to ANYONE who is staying at the hotel that the shuttle would be running THE ENTIRE DAY!) This is the MAIN reason why we picked this hote, which means we would NOT have picked this hotel had we known that the shuttle wasn't all day LIKE WE WERE PROMISED ON THE WEBSITE! The rooms were small, the breakfast was average at best and when we come to Ann Arbor Art Festival again, we will be taking advantage of other hotels (probably like the Hyatt because we saw that they were actually smart and competent humans and had a shuttle/bus running more than twice a day on what appears to be their busiest festival of the year). Very disappointed! The hotel is very outdated and warn out. It needs SIGNIFICANT updates to remain competitive (the elevator was VERY loud and the floors were not updated well-dirty and still old as well as the paint peeling in the hotel.)...

Booked this hotel for my son’s hockey team to stay in for their tournament. Its absolute best feature is its location. Easy to access, easy to get to places from and close to a lot of things to do. The hotel itself was just ok. Could use some updating which I suspect they might be doing. The staff was for the most part decent except when the kids were transitioning between rooms on the first floor and one of the managers scolded the parents in the lobby. Now they maybe have been a bit loud, but it wasn’t late and they were just going from one players room to another. That’s the next point, the first floor of this hotel is straight from lobby to room hall with no separation. The pool is right in the middle of the hall as well. If you are on the first floor, you are likely to have a very unpleasant and certainly not peaceful stay. The pool water was green in color. Fists day there a pool light popped out of the side and was bobbing in the pool. We had to get the kids out for safety. I don’t want to rate the place too low because of the location, I’ve stayed at far worse, and most of the staff were very nice. But these are the facts that you...

Called day before we arrived to verify availability of crib and to reserve for our stay. Day of, crib was "missing" during our entire stay. One reason we booked this hotel was because of the staff telling me there was a crib available.

Could only e-check in to one of our 2 rooms. Front desk then had to find a manager to correctly check us into our 2nd room.

Key cards given by front desk never worked on either room door.

Bluetooth access from my phone was random at best.

Electrical shade controls on the window of one room did not work, so we couldn't shut the blinds because there was no manual override.

The indoor pool's temp was not warm.

Hallway noise could easily be heard in our room

Pillows were lumpy

Alarm clock in our room was set by previous guest to go off @ 3am.

Bathroom towels are too small.

Breakfast area was not able to handle the level of guests that were booked. Ran out of plates, milk, trash was overflowing, no available seating, etc.

The cheerios in the "Honey Nut Cheerios" bin were just regular cheerios. Kids were not amused.

Was not able to e-check out at the end...

Where to begin. Upon arrival we found 10 spiders in the bathroom and bedroom, some dead and some alive. We also found a sewing needle in the middle of the bathroom floor. The room also smelled bad and the room would not stay a consistent temperature. Either way too hot or way too cold. We voiced these concerns to the front desk and were told the concerns would be relayed to management. We were also given the email addresses of both managers. I emailed both managers, described the issues, and still have yet to hear back days after the original reports. I tried calling corporate and was told that management at this location issued 5k reward points to my account to appease my concerns. This was never communicated to me and seems shady. The pool was also so disgusting my family didn’t want to use it. The water was a weird greenish color and the whole area looked very unkempt. This hotel is filled with issues and is very dated as well. Not consistent with the Hilton brand. Stay elsewhere.

Overall not worth the price. Price was raised because of Univ Michigan new student days. Room was beyond tired, it needed repairs. The bathroom door had chunks of wood missing and the liquid shower soap top was missing. The room had a wooden decor that is decades old accompanied by a musty smell. We turned the fan on and that masked most of the smell. Beds were fine but sheets felt old and slightly pilled. Private parking lot. Located a few miles south of campus. Breakfast was included and was what you’d expect, hot eggs, French toast, meat as well as yogurt, pastries and cereal. Coffee was not very good. Staff were fine. However, we were looking for restaurant recommendations and the front clerk could not identify any. To top it off, when we returned Friday night we had to park next to a group of local men who were using the parking lot as a Friday night hang out location, smoking weed and drinking.

I stayed in room 140 and had a pleasant experience overall. However, there were a few areas where improvements could be made. The carpet in our room could have been vacuumed more thoroughly as there were some dead bugs on the floor. Additionally, there was maintenance work being carried out on Monday evening around 6 pm, which resulted in loud banging noises that startled our dogs. Another minor inconvenience was that the sprinklers in the designated dog area turned on at 7 am, making it difficult to walk our dogs during that time. Despite these issues, the hotel provided great grounds for our dogs to enjoy. The price for a Saturday stay could be more competitive with the other days, as $165 seemed a bit high compared to the $100 rate for Sunday and Monday nights. On a positive note, the hotel's location was excellent, conveniently situated near the mall and university.
