The Home Depot Distribution Center — Local services in Pittston Township

I am a long time customer of HOME DEPOT and i have been going there for 10-15 years here in Bloomsburg Pa. I have probably spent 30-50 thousand at that one store along ... probably even more! However just recently i refuse to go there anymore! I have a veteran status and with the new PA Drivers license law where if you show your DD-214 (honorable discharge papers) to the DMV you can get a flag and a veteran tag on your Drivers License. Home Depot has decided this is not sufficient evidence of Veteran status. Now i talked with Bloomsburg's assistant manager and he assured me he would check into it and call me back with an answer! I never got a call back. I went into Home Depot for the last time yesterday and i got all kinds of flack and a denial of my veteran status on my DMV approved Drivers license! In order to appease the Home Depot GODS i must waste a full day and who knows how much money to travel to the local VA just to get a MILITARY ID card. There is not another business or institution that i can think of as of right now that will not accept my PA Drivers License! I REFUSE to make a trip to get an ID card JUST FOR HOME DEPOT! I have a few military friends and i can assure the Bloomsburg Home Depot has lost at least 5 customers! Thanks for the memories Home Depot... now Lowes will get...

This is one of the worst places you could work for. They micromanaging everything we do now. "Make sure you're using the indirect function." They dont care about their workers. They claim safety is their important priority, but they make you lift hundreds and all kinds of heavy products way over 75 lbs off and on of the trailers in the blazing heat with no AC in the building. They will blame you and even write up for if you hurt yourself lifting one of their products or even fall off of the step ladder, also using the bathroom frequently and if you aren'tj moving fast enough. also, they want you to have 95% score in performance, or else they fire you if you dont reach that score all the time. The place is a revolving door they can't keep people at all due to their ridiculous performance standards and mistreatment towards their employees. Don't work here unless...

The check in at office by dock 326. Live unloads are given a spot to drop the trailers right by the office. Spot 435-433 are dead smack right where the office is. When finished, they will bring back the trailer to the same spot.
