My dad took me to Skyzone and specifically called them and asked if it was ok for my twins brothers, who are barely 4 years old-told to attend the session. He was all stressed out because my older sister recently passed away and explained to them he didn’t want any problems or issues getting us in. So we get there and they were the opposite of understanding upon our arrival. They acted as if my dad stole the redemption codes my mom just sent to him as he was driving saying “When did you get those, how and where?” Absolutely no compassion and i don’t know if it’s due to how young they are or what but no customer service and no empathy! He had two digital tickets and was going to purchase the other three with his card but we never got that far. He understood the waivers were to be filled out and mine was already in the system as i have been there before with friends. So he asked if we could jump as he filled them out (as he has done in other facilities) and they sternly told him no. At that point they told us we only had a half hour to jump so we needed to hurry. At that point, he had been crying all day, with tears and fog in his glasses as he drove us to Piston Skyzone where we thought we would have a great time. He was frustrated in dealing with the loss of my sister as well as unreasonable funeral costs and called us kids to the front door and said “Let’s go now please kids!”On his way out in tears, he punched the door to skyzone, which was not damaged or broken at all (at least 3 inches of impenetrable glass) and left his license and debit card on the counter. They are now refusing to give him his possessions and money and called the police. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. As a grieving sister, sibling and daughter, i am ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED! PS, the police were extremely understanding and highly empathetic regarding the situation and are dropping his things off to...
Read morecould’ve been a 5 star but the manager is a joke. we bought the family pass, the lady at the check in desk told us that there was an optional toddler section if they needed a calmer area. my kids are crazy so they stayed in the main area. for an entire hour, they had an entire trampoline park filled with 3 year olds but the manager came up to MY kid and told me he wasn’t allowed to jump in the main course with the other kids because he wasn’t 5. he said “his orange bracelet means he is supposed to be in the toddler section” meanwhile my child was jumping around eight other kids with orange bracelets in the “main section” yet this manager didn’t confront any other parent and let the other kids (who were much smaller than my child) continue jumping in this main section. if it was a safety concern, they shouldn’t have had us sign waivers in the first place… but like i said before… there were plenty other toddler children around who were not told to leave the main section. it was literally only my child. the “toddler” section was a netted off area with about 8 trampolines. at this time there was one small baby (possibly 7-9 months) surrounded by ten or so adults “jump helpers” and there wasn’t any room for another child to go in there anyways.
i’ve sat here and wondered why, tried to think back to see if maybe he bothered anyone else, if we did anything wrong prior to him coming up to us randomly.
editing to add; when i tried confronting & asked for a corporate number or email that i can take this issue to, the manager handed me his own card instead of supplying me with the info...
Read moreUp until today, my boys have been regulars at Skyzone in Pittston. We attend parties there often, and my 2 sons have had multiple birthday parties there, themselves. Today, while attending a preschool friend’s birthday party, my 5 year old was injured by a much older gymnast doing back-handsprings during the party. She back-flipped right into my son’s head. As my son was screaming and crying on the ground holding his head in pain, an employee named Noah, told my 5 year old it was his own fault. Yes, my son left his square to walk over to a square closer to his friends, but he is 5 and didn’t expect to be back-flipped on. Then, Noah became mouthy, rude, and disrespectful to me... in front of many parents who were standing there concerned for my child. I am more than disgusted at the treatment of myself and my son, today, and am completely disappointed in the manner in which the situation was dealt with. My son is in my lap holding his head with a headache. And not even an apology. To make matters worse, on my way out of the door, the General Manager, Ed Kearns, approached me and my 5 year old son. Ed proceeded to yell at me, bend down to my son’s eye level and tell him, again, how it was his fault, which only made him cry more. Ed attempted to humiliate and embarrass me in front of a bunch of people. He invited me “to run around Pittston and share my story,” so i am taking him up on his offer. I would have loved to see this coward of a “man” speak to me like that with my husband standing next to me. Ed Kearns should be ashamed of himself, and he gives Skyzone...
