How this place has more than 3 stars I beyond me. Usually there are a couple of main big things that save a place⦠here? None. Ordered edamame, undercooked and had a smell of going bad. Went with the place, as it also smelled bad. Like old dirty rags that might have been used to ācleanā the floor with, and honestly, maybe the tables as well.. before walking out I said to my wife⦠at least let me try the fish before we leave. Ordered rainbow roll⦠the rice was undercooked⦠or worse yet, I bet it was just old. The fish?⦠was alright. The amount of wasabi and ginger were laughable.. just one more little thing to give away the type of restaurant it was. The underdone frame around the make shift āblackboardā separating the dining and kitchen, with a gap of about 2 inches and rough 2x4 to complete the āunfinishedā look. Then you have a loud counter display that beeps and reads the numbers for the waitress to know the kitchen has a plate ready! You know?.. like at the DMV??.. very pleasant for a restaurant.

I went to San Sushi for the first time the other day, and it was a great experience. First off, the venue is beautiful, comfortable, and clean. It wasn't very busy (I went in the middle of the day after the lunch rush haha), so I was provided service immediately. I ordered the Old Town roll and Avocado and Eel roll, which were both modestly priced for sushi, and beautifully presented. The rolls were decently sized as well, with each roll coming with nine pieces, so if you came with one friend, you could definitely share a roll or two and both feel like you got plenty of that roll. The rolls were very well done and tasted great. I'm excited to return and try some of their other options. It's a little hard to find, but it's a great stop if you're looking for a new sushi place to try alone or with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreService was excellent, shoutout to the waitresses! The sushi availability and taste however was sub-par. I don't think ever I've had sushi so bland before. The only thing saving the rolls was the soy sauce/wasabi mix that I made. Where are the flavors from the sauces, and the fresh veggies? The crabmeat was the only thing I could taste. The sushi selection doesn't have a diverse selection incorporating different flavors. Where are cajun flavors? The ponzu sauces and cilantro? The restaurant feels like your in a big open space with golf playing on mute in background...sorry thats boring...music selection was aweful didn't fit the scene. Where are the sushi chefs hustling at the sushi bar? Im sorry but this is not a sushi restaurant in my opinion this is just a restaurant that just happens to serve sushi...
