My recent dining experience at Paco's Mexican Cuisine in Placerville, CA, was nothing short of extraordinary. Under the skillful management of Paco, this establishment has blossomed into a culinary haven that captivates the senses and leaves a lasting impression. Paco, the manager, deserves accolades for his dedication and passion in creating an amazing dining experience. His commitment to excellence is evident in every aspect of the restaurant, from the warm ambiance to the impeccable service. Paco has truly built more than just a business; he has crafted a destination where flavors, hospitality, and community converge seamlessly. Now, let's talk about the Sopapillas – an absolute masterpiece and a testament to the culinary prowess at Paco's Mexican Cuisine. These delectable Mexican desserts were nothing short of a revelation. Light, airy, and perfectly golden, each bite was a symphony of flavors that danced on my taste buds. The Sopapillas here are undoubtedly the best Mexican dessert I've ever had, and I'm eagerly anticipating the opportunity to explore the rest of the dessert menu. Beyond the heavenly desserts, Paco's Mexican Cuisine offers a diverse and authentic menu that caters to every palate. From traditional favorites to innovative culinary creations, the menu reflects a deep respect for Mexican cuisine's rich heritage while embracing the excitement of new flavors. The vibrant atmosphere at Paco's adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience. The restaurant exudes a lively energy, making it an ideal place for everything from casual gatherings to celebratory occasions. The staff, under Paco's leadership, is attentive and friendly, enhancing the overall warmth of the dining atmosphere. In conclusion, Paco's Mexican Cuisine is a must-visit for anyone seeking an unparalleled Mexican culinary experience in Placerville. With Paco at the helm, you're not just dining; you're embarking on a flavorful journey that transcends the ordinary. Whether you're a fan of Sopapillas or eager to explore the diverse menu, Paco's Mexican Cuisine promises a culinary fiesta that will linger in your memory. Highly recommended – treat yourself to a taste of excellence at Paco's!

Stopped by here for lunch with kids. The place is immaculate. Very clean, inviting, beautiful ethnic decor. Once we sat down, we got the complimentary house chips and salsa - all made fresh at this restaurants. And let me just say they were the best l've ever had, and l've had a lot of chips and salsa. We ordered the wet burrito and it was huge and an absolute deliciousness. 2 adults could barely finish it and it was so flavorful and beautiful. All in all, completely amazing dining experience for the whole family from start to finish! Great prices, too! Come in, you will leave full and HAPPY! :)

We stopped by on a Monday afternoon driving back from the mountains. We ordered a wet chicken burrito and fish tacos. On the chicken burrito, we substituted grilled chicken and it was nearly $4 for that. The grilled chicken was dry and the burrito needed more flavor. Fish tacos tasted great. Salsa and chips are great too. The portion is smaller than other places but a good size enough for lunch. We were on the road so we skipped the good drinks. Lots of variety to choose from there.

To start, the hostess/waitress who first saw us enter the restaurant and sat us at the table was not friendly and seemed a little 'ghetto' (not professional in attire, appearance or attitude). The table she sat us at was sticky and there were crumbs (from chips maybe) on the seats. Although we were already hesitant to stay based on the greeting we received and the initial cleanliness of the table, we each ordered some basic combo meals. Bad idea. There was a hair in one of our meals. I was besides myself and ready to get out of there. My husband let the waitress know about the hair and lo and behold, we got the suspicious glare as if we placed the hair there ourselves. The toothless kitchen cook was scowling at my husband as if he wanted to fight him after the plate went back to the kitchen. Before leaving, I went to the restroom to wash my hands, and the bathroom obviously had not been thoroughly cleaned in awhile. There was splattered feces along the inner rim of the toilet bowl and everything felt grimey. I couldn't wait to get out of the place!

This shady establishment and it's employees are bad news. I would give it zero stars if I...

As someone with severe allergies (onions and garlic) its hard to find somewhere that understands when I bring it up. Tonight my husband and I went in and I asked the cashier what if anything I could possibly eat with my allergies (I fully understand that sometimes I cant eat at all the restaurants, but my husband can) and she went into ask the chef immediately. She was able to tell me what I was able to order and even went back multiple times to check that NOTHING in my food had any allergens. I got home and immediately tried the food and OMG it is so good!! I got a chimichanga with grilled chicken, lettuce and cheese only and it was made perfect; hubby got the wet burrito. I can't tell you enough how great the food was, but more so that the staff cared enough to make sure I had a good experience. Will definitely be...
