If there were minus stars, I would give them minus thousand of stars. I ordered food to go. My daughter order food also... A young lady took our order. I made sure to tell her over and over that we were vegetarians by choice and by religious belief and asked her to double check everything. I made it clear to her to make sure no meat, seafood, or the egg product in our food. She ensure me that the our order will not contain any meat or egg product. After waiting for a while, we got our order, which contained some sort of pickles. Upon questioning, we were told that the pickles were pork skin pickles. Once bringing to young lady's attention, she told us that, they DO NOT consider pork skin as meat. Well, she was adamant that pork skin was not meat. After going back and forth for a few minutes, young lady and two ladies in the back pretended like they spoke Spanish not English. We got our money back and left the food at their counter. We asked for the owner's name and the telephone, which they refused to give to us. I am filing a complaint with better business bureau. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE, AVOID THIS PLACE, AND DEFINITELY THEY NEED TO...
Read moreThis is one of the best Mexican food restaurants in Placerville but unfortunately they are very stingy with the spicy onions in their salsa bar.
I usually order takeout, and tell them no chips (which they give for free) because we don't eat them and I feel bad throwing them away.
Apparently, the "boss" banned their employees from giving me a piece of foil to take a sufficient amount of onions for 2 super burritos. The self serve salsa cups are way too small to put more than a few slices in per cup. I'd have to use ten plastic cups + lids (so wasteful) and barely get enough to enjoy with the meal. It is a waste of time and creates a mess for them to clean up.
The onions are the only thing my husband will eat with the burritos. So now, I have to learn to make it myself.
I guess they'd prefer to lose our business over less than $.50 of...
Read moreFood was Super bland and unsalted. Like it was made for a heart patient. We got two Supr Burritos and split them the first one was OK but bland. The second one had what seemed to be shredded lettuce in it. I hate lettuce in anything cause it generally is full of bacteria these days. Anyway I thought it smelled a little off but i somehow survived without getting sick. My husband though got very sick and threw up an hour or two after eating it. I have thought their salsa bar was dirty before and was kinda glad when they moved it up front but they also took away the chips so now you only get a tiny serving with your meal. With getting sick now we will never return. The food isn't worth it now anyway. It used to have some flavor but it's been real bland the last couple times...
