We used Baby Back Blues for our Wedding catering. I honestly wish I would have used someone else. The meat was good, but the sides were not up to par, and not what we tasted. The mashed potatoes were watery. Green beans were a different cut and tasted straight from a can, no additional seasoning. Mac and Cheese was overcooked. I had to ask the staff to switch the buffet to double sided as I was told it would be when I met with Marisa. Marisa also told me all the food would be labeled with little signs, and they were missing. This was a problem for the BBQ sauce, since the spicy was very spicy.
We paid for appetizers to be set on a buffet, were told they would provide plates. I found out they butler served guests bites of sausage and rib tips with no tooth picks or even napkins. We should have had more than enough appetizers as our guest count was much lower vs. what we estimated and paid for and my family and I didn't even get any. I asked the staff about it and they just told me they were gone, which leads me to believe we were not provided enough as they were gone in 15 minutes.
Whenever the staff was confronted about the issues, they were combative, defensive and unwilling to adjust to accommodate what my agreement was. They refused to dismiss guests from tables to the buffet, after it was discussed that they would do so.
I was drawn in with the low price point, we even paid for some extras (Salad, Mashed Potatoes). Overall I'm pretty...
Read moreSo Iv heard how great your BBQ is so my wife and I went to your Joliet locations by larsons. @415 we show up and want to order and there out of ribs so he said if you wait il give you a half slab free it will be ready in an hour. Ok cool wow we will wait I said. So 530 I enter the location to place my order full slab with brisket sandwich and fries thinking I'm gonna get some sides and drinks like you menu states the lady behind the counter tells me no not here in a ignorant tone. Ok whatever it's ok I hear the ribs are great. So total is $37 holy cow for a slab and a sandwich seems kinda high. Ok ended up finally getting my order at 608. I'm telling myself this is gonna be great food. Get home your ribs are absolutely horrible dry and fatty and were oven cooked it seems not cooked on wood brisket was as good as the microwave brisket sandwiches from Walmart and the fries were soggy and nasty. very disappointed in the service and more so in the food.. not sure if it's because it's a smaller location but man I am absolutely dissatisfied. Also the place is filthy with Dirty floors. And no menu available I think you guys need to pay close attention to that place because you just lost a huge BBQ fan. From now on all my business is going to the place down the road. Only thing I can compliment is that the hot BBQ sauce is good why you ask because I had to smear it all over the sandwich so it's edible. Shouldn't have to do that...

We visited BBBBBQ for dinner and got a variety of meats and sides. Everything was decent, but they could definitely improve some things.
Brisket: It was very tender and moist, but while it had a nice bark, it was a little bland. Brisket is not meant to be eaten with BBQ sauce, so most of the flavor will come from the bark. I think it needs more rub, or perhaps more salt in the rub.
Chicken: Tender and moist, but unless you cover it with BBQ, it was under seasoned.
Pulled pork: Tender and moist and with BBQ sauce it was good, but without the BBQ sauce it was also under seasoned.
Rib Tips: Seasoned well and tasted great with the BBQ sauce.
Corn Bread: Perfect corn bread, possibly the best. Delicious and moist. 9/10!!
Mac and Cheese: Cheesy and not too salty. Macaroni slightly overcooked.
Green Beans: Decent, no complaints.
Potato Salad: Decent, no complaints.
Overall we gave it a 3/5. It's decent, but there is definitely better BBQ around. The customer service is great. I hope the owners read this review and maybe make some adjustments. Few small changes could take this place from...
