I'm being generous and giving them 4 stars. I will review again after a couple of months once they have settled in. They have the potential for 5 but since they've only been open for 9 days, I'm cutting some slack. The food was delicious and our server Josephine was great! I think the kitchen is where the hang up is at right now. From the moment we sat phone to the moment we left, 1 hour and 40 minutes. That did not include waiting for a table. Drinks were fast, appetizer came out quick, the salad and breadsticks came out quick, and then there was the main entrées. We had to hold our kids back. It's as if they wanted to start protesting. The main entrées took forever to come out. Once they finally did, the plates were scorching hot and the food was warm. This tells me they also spent a lot of time on a warmer instead of getting served. Overall it was great. Make sure you are not in a rush to be anywhere afterwards. I went in at 6:50pm and came out at 8:30pm. I initially thought we woukd have plenty of time to make it to Costco after eating but I was wrong. I also don't think the employees have a bathroom of their own because I had to wait in a line behind 3 employees to use the customer bathroom.

Oh. My. Gosh. 🤩 Have you guys been to the new Olive Garden in Plainfield, Illinois? 🍝🍴🍷 It is LIT! 🔥 I mean, seriously, I had the best time ever there. First off, let's talk about Jade, our server. 💁‍♀️ She was on point with everything - refills, recommendations, you name it. And she was so nice! 🥰 Like, not in a fake way either. You could tell she genuinely cared about our experience there. And then China, the hostess, 💃 She had the best smile and attitude when we walked in the door. I swear, it was contagious. 😁 I couldn't stop smiling the whole time we were there! But let's talk about the food. Oh. Em. Gee. 😍 I don't even know where to start. The breadsticks 🥖 were out of this world. I could have eaten just those and been satisfied. But of course, we had to try everything. The salad 🥗 was so fresh and delicious. And the entrees? To. Die. For. 😋 I had the Shrimp Scampi 🦐and it was like heaven in my mouth. Overall, I give this new Olive Garden in Plainfield two thumbs up. 👍👍 If you're in the area, you have got to check it out. And make sure you ask for Jade as your server and say hi to China at the door. They seriously made our experience there unforgettable. 🙌

We went for lunch around 11am on a Thursday. We were seated right away but it immediately started filling up fast. By the time our meal ended there was a wait to be seated. The food was actually decent. This is the most basic of meals. Nothing fancy or authentic, but most of it tasted good and the service was good. The tosted ravioli was not great but we liked the crispy chicken alfredo and the chicken parmesan, but not as much as just making it ourself at home. The salad was good and the breadsticks were soft and yummy. I love the floor to ceiling window in the front. That's where we sat. I didn't really care for using the tablet for everything, but that's the future I guess. It has a call server button so you don't have to wait for refills, you can just notify through the tablet. Total ticket was $75 for 2 dinner entres, an appetizer and 2 drinks, including tip. I'm not sure the price is right, as I feel like there are much better places to eat for $75 but if you're hungry heading into costco it might be worth it, but I think I'd rather get a slice of pizza from the food court and spend $72 on costco stuff. 🤷‍♀️

If I can rate it a 0 I would. We went there for my son Bday. Our waitress Sincere was terrible. Never came to check on how things are going. We waiting 30 min for just apps and she didn't bring everything. Ask for additional items and again long delay it got to the point I was looking around for her. On contrast the table next to us we saw that waitress 5 times so, I called her over to find our waitress. She comes back to say she just got a table of 12 in a different section. I observed that waitress bring to go boxes, for food, bag their items and check on them. OURS, NOPE! Only came to bring food. One time she came to table and had to see we were low on refreshments I had to ask her for more otherwise she would of walked away and it'll probably be 30 min more. One item we waited long for was cheese sticks, we asked for sauce and guess what didn't come with, had to wait another 15 min for that luckily cheese sticks were still warm. This restaurant wasn't that bust it was like 8 pm but, we could see se clearly enjoyed taking to employees more as she was observed a few times chatting away. We get ready to leave and ordered to go meal, and wouldn't you know it, she never brought them to us not even a bag for our to go boxes so we paid for food we didn't get! Kids are usually oblivious to what's going on but, even my son notice and when it too long for our apps he was even tempted to leave. Again restaurant wasn't busy, I didn't even see a manager come by nore did our waitress apologize for poor service only saying she got a big table. Sadly since you pay at table and don't get a receipt we can't even show the receipt proving we never got our food. Prior to even sitting the Hosts were very snotty. We check if there was a waiting list and there was none, we walk in she says it's going to be a wait. We simply told her that's odd online didn't show there was one, and she replies sarcastically well,.people just show up as walk ins, so you'll have to wait! Worst...

My son and I came here because I love cheese ravioli. We walk in and the lady tells us to check in with phone number and then it was about a 5 to 10 min wait. OK fine. We sit down and litterly 3 min later I get a text message saying your table is ready. We get up and they seat us. Our waiter came was nice wish I could remember his name to put on here. We order our soup and meal. Everything in the beginning went fine. We eat our soup and then get our dinner. Things went downhill after we start eating. Our waiter stopped by our table a couple times to check in on us and replace water. 10 min go by no waiter, another 5 min go by still no waiter. My son and I are now done eating and was waiting for our waiter to come back which at this point was 20 plus min. We wanted to ask for to go boxes and at this point I paid already at that pay box thing on the table. Still waiting. I then see the hostess or one of the hostess girls walking by and I stop her and say excuse me we haven't seen our waiter in over 30 min are you able to help grab us 2 of your to go boxes? This girl had the nerve to say " ask your waiter " and walks away from me. My son was like mom did she say what I think she just said? I look at him and say yea she did. I am heated. Another waiter was walking by and I stop him. I tell him what just happened and also told him our waiter hasn't came back to us since dropping off our dinner plates. He grabs us fresh bread and to go boxes and apologizes. I wanted to speak to a manager but at this point it was getting late I was tired and wanted to just leave. I saw my original waiter several times too and can't understand why he only checked in on us a couple times and then never come back? We weren't mean we are good people. So here i am making a post I may give this place one more chance but not this location I'll...

So we came to this olive garden on mother’s day and let me tell you my mother has never felt more disrespected and disregarded in her life. Our waitress was extremely unprofessional and rude. To start, she said that there was not a drink available and then proceeded to tell us it was available, and then my mother went to order said drink and the waitress cut her off and proceeded to tell her that drink was not available. But then, we overheard another table order that same drink and they got it! Next she nearly dropped the serving tray on the table and proceeded to say “you guys didn’t see that”. She set our drinks down on the table and placed both drinks in front of my father and then proceeded to only hand my father a straw. Also, not to mention how she barely came to our table. We had to ask other workers around to get more breadsticks and to clear our plates. It got so bad to the point where the manager came over and checked on us. The waitress didn’t deliver out food nor did she ask how we were doing and if we needed anything. Like I mentioned previously, we had more than 3 different workers helping our table out to fullfil our needs. To add on onto this she only asked my father if he wanted another refill while my mothers cup was empty for more than 20 minutes. My mother then proceeded to ask for a water and she brought her water out as well as my fathers drink and only gave my father another straw. disregarding that this was my mothers special day that she’s been waiting for after our extremely long wait she directed more of her attention towards my father which I found extremely disrespectful and it made me feel very uncomfortable. I’ve never encountered such a disrespectful and unprofessional...
