McDonald's — Restaurant in Plainfield

This location used to be great (prior to the remodel). Since then, I don't know what happened. There was a huge turnover in employees and managers and no one seems to have a clue what is going on. Our last 3 orders have taken longer than they should and all 3 were incorrect. The last trip there was the absolute worst restaurant experience. Ordered 2 happy meals and 2 value meals at 1:02pm. Paid, received drinks and was advised to pull to pickup spot #2. And there I sat... until 1:24pm. At this point, I headed inside (along with another gentleman from the car next to me). It was mass chaos inside! Huge lines to order, huge line for "corrected orders", and most employees moving like slugs! Literally, these employees were moving so slow a snail would have passed them. The girl at the counter seemed clueless. When I finally got the manager and told her I had been waiting for my order for 25 minutes, she grabbed my receipt and made my order (it was never even made!). Gave me two free value meals and a quick "sorry"... That was it. I could not believe she wasn't more apologetic. It took 30 minutes through the DRIVE THRU line to get 4 basic meals! And to top it off, when I got home, my 6 piece nugget meal only had 4 pieces, it was missing the dipping sauce, we received zero napkins, and my coke was a diet coke... 4 things were incorrect after waiting for 30 minutes... This location is super convenient but we will NEVER come here again. I'd rather be hungry than to experience the horrible customer service again. Steer clear of...

Okay I have tried and tried, I have 6 kids and they are the only reason I come here after being disappointed many times in the past 6 years. Don't come here it's a hazzard. A hazzard to kids and everyone walking. 1st food. Fries undercooked and still white so much grease it must cost a fortune to replace the oil at nights end It's ok through they get their money's worth by using it on the floors as well. I mean grease all over the floor from a mop that wasn't sanitized and used in the back and front ends , be very careful if you are elderly and happen to step in a puddle it is going to take someone out I pray not . Play place is dirty and grease on the tables as well must have had a spill in the kitchen and perhaps management never thought the young members how to properly clean and sanitize. Very disappointed with this location. We visited before they closed and were their last customer of the night. We arrived 15 mins before closing so, plenty of time to take care of us. I ordered a Big Mac with no lettuce and a quarter pounder and my wife ordered a chicken sandwich. They repeated the order correctly at the drive up and then again when we paid and then finally, they told us our order again as they handed us our food reassuring us everything was correct. We quickly checked the bag and it appeared to have the correct sandwiches. It was 5 mins before closing time and they turned out the lights on the signs as soon as we drove away. They gave my wife a chicken sandwich and me two quarter pounders. Very disappointed that they took my money and reassured us the order was correct and then ripped us off. Very bad service.
