Food is good. Staff is usually friendly. Always slow, new employees all the time who require much more training than they are given, sometimes you will be waiting well over 10-15 minutes for a simple order because they are understaffed. There is only one drive thru window so there is 1 person taking orders, gathering money at the window, gathering orders and handing food out of the window. That’s a job that could easily be split up by putting just 1 other person on the drive thru headset to help out. I worked here for 2 years and I sometimes would be forced to make customers wait 20 minutes at the window because we were swamped with other customers and not enough staff to keep up with all of our incoming orders. There are 4 active stations (drive thru, soft serve, grill, front register) and sometimes there are literally 4-5 people working, including one manager. So when there are 10 cars in the drive thru and 20 people in line inside with 1 employee per station, MAYBE 2 employees in soft serve....How do you expect to get your work done in efficient time?. Read moreI purchased a Reeses Blizzard Ice Cream Cake for my wife's birthday. This year when I went to order it online like I have done for the past 5 or 6 years, it was no longer available to online order. I called the store to order what I wanted and the woman I was transferred to in the cake department was extremely short with me and told me what I wanted was already in the freezer and I just needed to pick it up. Friday I went to the store to pick it up. When we went to eat it, it was extremely freezer burned like it had been sitting in the case for a long time. Out of the 2 pieces we had, there were only 2 or 3 tiny pieces of Peanut butter cups. The cake tasted awful from the freezer burn to the point that we are throwing the rest of it in the trash. I am not sure if there was a management change at this restaurant, but the quality of the cake was nowhere close to what we had in the past. At almost $30 for an 8" cake, it was appalling how bad this cake was. I will not be purchasing another Dairy Queen cake if this is what they have become. This is embarrassing if the management is ok with the way this franchise...
Read moreLet’s just say the manager runs a loose ship here & they need to invest in a new speaker. Not only did they mess my order up at the speaker, but also again at the window after it was confirmed. My friend and I kindly asked for our order to be repeated as our total was 17$ for just two blizzards and 2 chicken strips. We repeated our order twice at the speaker only for them to give us glares at the window for an order they messed up. Our actual total ended up being $10. My friend and I drove away after finally thinking our order was right to find that they had given us the complete wrong blizzards (even though we just confirmed our order for the 6th time at the window) that we’re unmixed and entirely toppingless. I also asked and was confirmed for a side of ranch dressing, but I think they gave me bbq sauce out of spite. I work in food service & understand the struggles, but I also know that an order shouldn’t be messed up after having it repeated 6 different times.
