Gravestone Manor. — Local services in Plains Township

These haunted houses are my favorite types of all! A small non for profit organization that really pours their "heart and soul" (pun intended) into a production! For an insanely reasonable 12 bucks, you get a solid 20 minutes of fun, jump scares, cool theming, neat little room tricks, and an incredibly well paced experience where you wont be smacking into groups ahead of you! In my opinion, it is family friendly. Since I was solo, they put me w another family with kids that seemed to be tween-ish, and there was absolutely nothing overly violent or out of line for that age group - and those kids were definitely having fun being scared. I may be biased, but this is one of the best haunts in the valley! Its like a walk through play crossed with a haunted attraction, and it doesnt end there! every year a new script and theme is written and worked on almost all year to bring something fresh and new every season! And get this, tickets are only $12...and it ALL goes to charity!!! how awesome is that! Getting to have fun and also know all of your money including merch sales, tickets, and credit card fees go straight to United Way of Wyoming Valley! Completely nonprofit, all sets, costumes, and makeup are donated or bought by volunteers. We had an awesome time at Gravestone Manor. Everyone we encountered was friendly and seemed to actually enjoy being there. It's so different from other haunted attractions because there's so much thought put into it. It's theatrical, the sets are creative and fun to look at, you get to be involved, you laugh nervously, you get frightened at certain times. It's just overall super fun. I'm actually going back again before the season is over. I'm surprised that it's only $12 when other local haunted attractions charge more than double that amount and aren't even comparable.
