They only rate a 1 due to no negative ratings Family party of 8 last night every plate ordered was either wrong or incomplete Ordered half order of beef quesadillos received 1/2 order of beef fajitas

Ordered side of beans didn't get any

Ordered a large queso dip with a side of guacamole they dumped the guacamole into the queso dip

Left off the sides of beans and rice

5.added cheese to plate after requesting no cheese

6.again added cheese to the plate when requested no cheese

7.number 1 combo with beans and rice did not receive the side beans and rice and the enchilada was just a rolled tortilla with red sauce just about the size of my little finger

Ordered a number 3 combo 2 enchiladas 2 tacos beef with rice and beans they brought out a 3 enchiladas plate which I did not order so sent it back no one tried to verify what I ordered for 10 minutes I did not reorder due to time so I did not have a meal

Called for the manager when they brought the ticket and told him every meal was incorrect and or missing items when it was brought to the table and he blew up I demanded he comp the table due to poor service and incorrect orders well I'll just charge it back to the waiter was his response The issue being he is not competent enough to realize you train new staff on slow days at lunch or mid-week so they learn and become comfortable in their job

Worst food and service I have ever had at Leals and I have been to Lubbock Muleshoe Clovis both locations Amarillo and Plainview where we lived for...

Here's the thing that Leal's consistantly gets right. It's their amazing service and servers. They always try to focus on their customers, and give their guests a family friendly experience.

One thing that usually ends up a little bit badly is their chips and salsa, which is usually free as long as you buy some food. The reason i say this is because, sometimes, the salsas and the chips feel as if they were opened from the fridge and just served out to the customers, this happens eehh about 1 out of 7 to 10 times you dine in the place. It's not alot but it happens. But, i may say when they serve their chips and salsa fresh, you're going to love the place alot and become a frequent diner most of the time hahaha.

Another thing is their food, their food will always be fresh but the quality of it is a different story. Sometimes it would be very greasy and sometimes it can be very pleasant to your pallet. Sadly they didn't meet my standards with the fajitas, since it didnt taste like it at their 100, but i understand since they were very busy with lots of other customers. The fajitas were very pleasing to the eye, but didnt really bring what i thought it was going to be, as in flavorful and somewhat bold, but i digress since they usually make it better.

Please take this review with a grain of salt as this wasnt my best experience but with their service and staff members, i guarantee it was very...

So me and a friend of mine used to go here every Friday and order the fajitas. This was 20 years ago give it take. Back then the place was spotless. Clean and smelled like a mexican grandma's kitchen. Hector the owner, then, would walk around and talk to every customer. The food was always delivered hot and steaming. The chips were light and crisp and the salsa fresh. Now, I now a lot changes in 20 years, I had been bragging to my wife about the greatest place ever for fajitas. We finally one day got in the car and drove to Plainview and I took her there. The avocado baby poop green and off red the walls were painted didn't work well. The chips tasted like they were cooked in old oil and came to the table pretty salted. We dont salt our chips so this wasn't good. The salsa was the consistency of water. Our waitress too our order wrong we both ordered beef fajitas, even commented we drove a long way just for the fajitas, the took the wrong orders back and made up fajitas. The onions and bell peppers were as thin as string. Not the thick chunks they used to be. They were still good probably as good as ever. No complaints about the food. I guess it's true you can't go home again. It was a nice trip down memory lane but won't make...

I got the Tacos a la Mexicana, it barely had any meat, and the tortillas were soaked in oil for no reason. I could understand if the tortillas were fried or even crispy but they were neither just heated up. The mexican rice tasted like it came from a bag same with the refried bean but at least the bag ones have flavor . The orange juice we received tasted like orange colored water . The fries also had 0 seasoning. I’m not sure how this place has so many good reviews but those people are either drunk or smokers with no taste buds . I would call this place “Leal’s cheap tasteless version of mexican food “ rather than “leal’s mexican restaurant”. If I could put 0 stars, trust me I would.
