McDonald's — Restaurant in Plainville

I get that fast food is geared to be fast and not 5 star quality but this is the slowest food you could ever imagine. Anything I order even during the peak time when the grill should be full I had to pull up and wait and when they bring the food out it appears to be old food that has been reheated. The last time I got a quarter pounder with cheese it was the most pathetic piece of meat ive ever seen. It was so leathery that I couldn't even bite into it. Clearly it was over re-heated in the microwave to the point of being inedible, but they slapped it between a bun and served it. The french fries I got were obviously cold at one point and put back in the oil because they were soaked with oil in and out and drenched in salt. No crispiness at all and that level of sogginess comes from double frying. Of course a regular meal at McDonald's is about $10 bucks now so it's neither cheap nor fast.it's sad I remember as a kid going with my parents and you could get a burger for $0.19 and a fries and a shake all for under a dollar fifty and it all tasted good. but now it's expensive crappy slow food. yes I know it's McDonald's but if they're going to charge you $10 for something that cost them probably a dollar to make they can at least cook it fresh and serve it fresh without you waiting 20 minutes in the parking lot which is not an exaggeration. Yesterday I did my order on the app which I usually do. Order went through, got my code and I proceeded to the drive through for pick up. After I received my order and was leaving, the young lady yelled that it didn't go through and I owed $4.07. She kept saying it while I looked in my wallet to pay. Paid the amount, and when I left I checked my bank account and the money was withdrawal from my account, the amount was $3.22. I went back and spoke to the young lady and she wanted to get loud, I was just explaining calmly how they charged me doubled, since she charged me and my account was charged as well. I showed my bank account as proof. A puertorican guy that works there, moved her and came to the window, asked how he can helped me. After I explained what happened, he said that they have been having problems with the app and he cannot give me my money back. I told him that I will fight it through the bank and he said that if they can't give me my money to go back to him not to anyone else to see if he can give me like food and maybe money from his pocket. Honestly is not about the money but the experience and how it was handled. I would not go to this location anymore. Customer service is not a priority, even with proof, they don't return...

Yes I actually kept track. I had noticed that more often then not, What I ordered and what I received were 2 different thing. So for the last month, every time I visited this location I wrote it down. Mix n match deal, ordered a big mac and 10 pc nugget with bbq sauce. Received a Quater pounder and nuggets with sweet n sour sauce. Ordered a double cheeseburger no ketchup, received a double cheeseburger with only ketchup. Ordered a McChicken no lettuce and a buffalo sauce, received a normal McChicken and bbq sauce. What's most troubling is most of the time the receipt has the correct order on it. So my question is, if you read it back to me properly, its typed out properly, how are you making these mistakes. And most of these orders are 7 pm or later, so its not as if theres a rush. Im usually alone in the drive thru. Sad when you can't make a simple fast food order right. It's McDonald's people not rocket science.

Oh, also be prepared to wait an insanely long time for drive thru. Just waited 20 mins. If i didn't have kids that were promised McDonald's, i would...
