Sax Restaurant & Pizza — Restaurant in Plainville

I cant say I "hate" the food because I didn't even get the chance to try it. The management was so terrible, that I got up and left. Sax Restaurant has a nice typed laminated lunch menu.. which says LUNCH SPECIALS right at the top. There are two columns of food on the left and the right. Right under lunch specials ... it says.... "Free soup with lunch special." I thought that was a nice bonus. My friend ordered a sandwich and I ordered the pizza slice. "Both on the lunch special page" When I told the waitress what type of soup I wanted, she told me that she had several complaints about it, but the pizza slice didn't come with soup. I asked why it was considered a special then... She told me it was the only item that didn't come with the soup according to management. So I asked nicely to speak to the manager. When he came over, I asked him if that was the lunch special page... he agreed. And he said the same thing - they don't offer the soup with the pizza. I suggested he take it off the special page then considering everything else was considered a special. He said.. "Why would I do that? Just to make you happy?" I can't believe he would pass up a $20.00 lunch, and possibly a returning customer over a bowl of soup. I paid for my one soda I purchased... and told him to cancel my order. The soup had nothing to do with my decision. If he said, "your right that is a good suggestion, I could see the confusion, I would have passed on the soup." However based on his very poor attitude and customer service, I would never return nor would I recommend this...

about the ranch: it started when i selected a slice of pizza, or i should say square given the clever party pizza style square cuts, i then took my side of ranch and settled into my friends couch, ready to indulge. my mouth hole wasn't nearly prepared for the experience that was ahead. the first taste of ranch came once i dipped a corner of the pizza in and took a bite, the ranch instantly pleasing every one of my taste buds. i quickly had regret and remorse over not ordering a tub, and before i knew it the ranch was gone. the pizza and wings were a mere delivery method for the oddly colored...

This was my first time coming here and decided to try the steak and cheese. I couldn't wait to try their steak and cheese. They even post it on the sign in front of there building so i assumed it was a to die for sandwich. When i got my steak and cheese i could not believe that it barely had any meat on it. I just sent it back and wont waste my money or time coming back here. Waitress did offer to remake my sandwich but i declined. Most restaurants wouldn't serve that to someone like that. I would be embarrassed to serve this to a customer if i owned a restaurant. I've enclosed pics of...
