I love Mei tea! Probably my favorite bubble tea place since I first tried the place. The atmosphere, the delicious smell when you walk in…. The lovely greetings and smiles when you walk in and order! I don’t think I will ever go to another business for bubble tea again! 10/10 for everything. I have also tried the steamed dumplings and I got the vegetable ones and they were so flavorful and delicious. Nice and hot and I believe the dumplings came with a delicious chili oil sauce. I fell in love instantly. My go to Oder is a large taro bubble tea with tapioca of course with 75% sweetness sometimes 100% and it’s just amazing. I also went to Mei tea very late one time because I was craving bubble tea and I ended up forgetting my wallet inside… the owner came outside and brought it to me and made sure we were good and okay! Mei Tea has a huge variety of bubble teas, which you can customize yourself if you know what you’re doing. They also have a few snack options, but are primarily a bubble tea shop. They have a menu on their google page if you’d like to have a look.

The reason for only 3 stars is due to their hours. They are only open until 5:00PM on week days, which if you work 1st shift, you’ll never get there in time. On weekends they’re supposed to be open until 8:00PM, but the few times I’ve gone there on weekends, the shop is locked up by ~7:00PM, even though the hours on the door say they should still be open for another hour.

If you’re able to catch them while they’re still open, I’d recommend this place if you’re a fan of bubble/milk teas, just maybe call ahead and make sure...

Was finally able to try this place. Had a great experience. Great selection of teas and toppings and you can customize the sweetness like at most places. The quality seemed higher than other places around CT yet the prices are better. Really enjoyed the snack selection as well. The baos are delicious and a perfect size. Dumplings come with about a dozen pieces for a small and the filling was seasoned well. They had an assortment of sauces so I'll try a different one next time but the regular sauce was tasty and you don't need much of it.
