WOW i am truly appalled by the way i was treated at this wendys. i went inside, and ordered 3 jr. cheeseburgers. the total was 4.88, which was fine.whille preparing my food, i used the restroom. on my way out, a couple ordered a "4 for 4" deal, where you can mix and match items for 4 dollars, including jr cheeseburgers.
i politely asked the girl at the register if i could change my order to the "4 for 4", and get 4 jr cheeseburgers instead of 3. i told her i didnt notice it on the menu, and apologized for the inconvenience. she seemed a bit confused, but said no problem. id have to wait for it to be made, but that was fine of course.
10 or 12 minutes later im still waiting for my food, and the girl who took my order got my attention and said i owe $9.56 for thge rest of the order. it was 9 dollars and change i owed. confused, i asked her what cost so much and she said that i asked for 4x "4 for 4s", meaning she thought i wanted 16 burgers. i laughed a little and said sorry, i only wanted the 4 burgers - that i wanted to change my original order to 4 jr cheeseburgers instead of 3. she got mad, and said it wasnt possible.
at this point ive been in wendys for 15 minutes without food, and now an employee was being rude to me. all i wanted to do was change my order to an active deal, and they refused. so they wanted me to pay $4.88 for 3 burgers when the couple behind me paid $4.36 for 4 of the same burger. i told the manager id much rather just have the food, but if they couldnt add a burger to my order then i wanted a refund instead so i could order the "4 for 4", i would even take the burgers they amd me originally. the manager literally didnt even respond, gave me the cold shoulder like a petty child, and handed me my money. i said im never coming back here(in a kind way, i was polite the entire time), and the manager said "Good".
are you kidding me? what a...
Read moreDuring a visit to a restaurant with my parents and younger sisters, we witnessed a heated argument. We had just relocated & moved and were feeling fatigued, hungry but upon entering, we were met with a cook loudly confronting the manager and the cashier. The cook was frustrated that customers were being allowed into the dining area just before the 10 PM closing time, insisting that no one should be admitted at that hour. His behavior was extremely rude and unprofessional. The manager, a Spanish woman wearing glasses, noticed us and kindly offered to assist, which I appreciated and reflected in my rating.
However, the cashier, a young woman with a tongue piercing, was quite rude while taking our order. She rushed through it, made mistakes, and then answered a phone call right in front of us, discussing plans to go to a club and expressing her annoyance at possibly being left out. It was astonishing to see someone so dismissive while on the job, completely ignoring our presence and failing to handle our order properly.
Additionally, a man from a food truck company attempted to place an order inside since his vehicle couldn't fit through the drive-thru. He was denied service right in front of us. I spoke up, suggesting they could quickly take his order, but the cashier insisted that the inside was closed. The man, clearly frustrated by the lack of professionalism, remarked on her attitude and mentioned he would be contacting corporate. They also refused to provide their names when asked. Overall, the service was terrible, the establishment appeared unclean, and I would not recommend dining there again. Avoid this place to spare yourself from unnecessary frustration. Spend a little more & go elsewhere where the food & customer service are...

I ordered a $6 biggie bag. They asked if I wanted a cookie for $0.99. I said no. I am expecting my order to be $6.00 + tax.
I get to the first window. The kid working the register just grabs my card, runs it, hands it back to me and walk away without saying anything. I should have asked for the total before I gave him my card that mistake was on me.
I get to the second window the woman says did you want a chocolate chip cookie. I said no. At this time my phone dinged with notification of the payment I just made. It was $9.64. I asked her why it was that much. She couldn't tell me, so I said can I get the receipt. She hands it to me. They charge me for a medium soda and medium fry for $0.99 more. I decided to let that go, but they charged me $1.98 for the cookie that I didn't want and wasn't in the bag.
The woman returns a minute later with nickles and dimes to refund me. I said you charged me $2 for the cookie. She says hold on and goes back in. Then she tells me to drive forward so I did. Then a guy who I think was a manager came out and handed me the receipt and a dollar, and quickly walks away. Thus, I was cheated out of tax on the cookie that I almost paid for if I didn't pay attention.
It wasn't even busy. Do they have a cookie quota that they are trying to meet?
This Wendy's is always bad, but never bad enough to write a review. I go there maybe once a year when I'm in a pinch to grab a quick bite to eat. This is one of the reasons why I only go there once a...
