We have been meaning to try this place for a while now, and today was the day. When I walked in the store, the first thing I noticed is that the place is pretty small. It is cozy though, and I was surrounded by fresh breads and pastas and a wide variety of Italian food accessories. The star of the show was of course the deli. The menu is fairly limited, and after speaking with the counter clerk, I don't think there is too much wiggle room for customizing sandwiches - not that I don't think that they wouldn't accommodate a special request. We ordered three different sandwiches as-is, which is unusual for me, but we rolled the dice. I ordered the Muffaletta...as described to me it sounded great. We also ordered a meatball grinder and the Sorrentina. Sandwiches took about 10 minutes, maybe, to be prepared and then we were off to go back home to eat. The atmosphere was friendly, chill, and welcoming. On the other hand, three sandwiches, with tip, was almost $50. We got home and there were some oohs, ahhs, and ??? Meatball grinder was exactly what you would expect - hot, melty cheese, and tasty meatballs in marinara. The Sorrentina was exactly as billed, and my wife really liked it. My Muffaletta was not what I expected based on other Muffalettas that I have had. First of all it was cold, and I have never had a cold Muffaletta. However, it was huge and it was good. The olive tapenade was fresh, so much so that I bit down on an olive pit. I told my wife that the one thing that I would change, other than the temperature, was the balsamic vinaigrette. To me, it was kind of sweet, and that is not what I like in a sandwich. My wife said that the balsamic vinaigrette was exactly the reason that she liked her sandwich, because she does not normally do "Italian" style sandwiches. Hard to believe that we ever got married. Anyway, I will definitely try it again. I honestly had trouble deciding what I wanted to order, the sandwich menu is exactly what I look forward to. Also, they have gluten free options! Go...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is one of those places that is truly a specialty shop. You can tell that they really understand their ingredients and really appreciate their customers. They even made sure to make me feel welcome by taking a small moment to thank me for coming in. It's a small gesture that is so appreciated with the fast pace of the food industry. Inside these walls is a place that is full of authentic care to the tradition of Italian sandwiches and cuisine.
I will definitely be back. The Momma's Mortadella was out of this world. The pesto they used in the sandwich was probably the best pesto I have ever had in my life. The bread was a proper loaf where the crust had a good authentic chew to it combined with a flavor that doesn't get in the way of the rest of the ingredients. It provides the perfect vehicle to enjoy the burrata, mortadella, tomatoes, pesto, and a sweet/tangy reduced balsamic vinegarette drizzled lightly to give balance to the mix.
I can't wait to try more things on their menu!!!

Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy wife and I went to Enzo's Deli & Imports for lunch and were greeted by Mike behind the deli counter. Michael, Mike, and Craig know how to deliver top notch service ( and there's no doubt the rest of the team are the same). Mike instantly made us feel comfortable and offered to answer any questions while sharing stories of his culinary creations. Before checking out, he told us we could enjoy our sandwiches with a glass of wine next door (at Corner Wines & Wine Bar) if there was any interest in trying something new - there was. We enjoyed a couple glasses of a fantastic Chianti that Craig picked out. Michael came over to ask how our meal was and we began chatting about all the other great things they offer. We will definitely be coming back. The atmosphere is perfect, the sandwiches are piled high with the good stuff, and an incredible wine selection next door, this place has it all! Highly recommend if you're in the area and well worth the drive if...
