Maybe it was an 'off night'. I LOVE Thai food and have had some really authentic Thai food in the states. However, Mango Thai Cuisine really dropped the ball on the Tom Kha and the Pad Thai, two dishes that should be extraordinarily easy to prepare authentically if you are a real Thai food restaurant. I make Tom Kha regularly and the Tom Kha I received shares NO similarities to any Tom Kha I have ever had, all I tasted was SALT. Period. And, the Pad Thai, zero notes of tamarind, zero; not a real Pad Thai dish, it has that cheap orange 'sauce' that is supposed to represent the complex flavors Pad Thai should have but wholly fails. I have Thai friends and KNOW what Thai food is supposed to taste like and Mango Thai did not deliver.

I will say the dumplings were decent as was the dumpling sauce.

I really wanted authentic Thai food and thought with so many positive ratings that I would have been in Thai heaven, unfortunately not.

My authentic Thai food hunt continues in Texas. :/ Wish me luck. :)

Response to the 'owner': Not authentic Pad Thai...sorry, but I KNOW the orange colored flavorings are fake and NOT AUTHENTIC. You can sell that lie to those that do not know, but I KNOW. In FACT, the Tom Kha was the worse Tom Kha I have ever had. You might want to rethink your apologies and honesty. IN FACT: I have ALL of the terrible you food you sent to my home, shall we have a professional chef taste your food for authenticity?...

So bad! Mandatory 15% tip added to all tables to no reason! Service was terrible, they don’t give you straight forward answers. Do not go here. Called the cops because they were threatening me and the cops had to talk to the manager. What kind of policy is this? They are lying and said 6 people ate there but it’s only 3 of us who ate at the restaurant, and we got terrible service and no mannerism. Don’t make the mistake of going here. Waitress was so impatient, walks away before your done talking. I had a lot of allergies and she didn’t address any of my concerns

Response to your message: Seriously?? Asking why there is a mandatory tip even for 3 people and requesting to remove you guys call that as "aggressive behavior"? Interesting. You can provide me camera proof for 6 people dining in. This is a complete lie. When the officer arrived, he did confirm that I have right to question on the tip policy and he spent most of the time talking to you guys to change the tip policy. I want to emphasis the attitude of the staff and how rude she was. Maybe in the future when the customers complain about service or food quality in the restaurant, you guys might end up in calling the police saying it's "aggressive attitude". Wishing you good luck with your business after this...

I called and placed an order. The man that answered the phone was EXTREMELY RUDE. He didn't say hello or anything his response once he answered was "Yeah what do u want"? I had to get clarity that I had the correct establishment because he was so abrupt and aggressive. I placed my order and once I was done he said 15mins and hung up! So once I arrived I asked to speak with a manager and he said there wasn't one on duty ( which I'm 100% sure was a lie, an establishment doesn't leave a place to the workers to just run the show). So then I asked if he was the one I spoke to on the phone and he said yes. I told him he was rude over the phone with the way he answered and hung up on me. He blamed the phones and I asked him if the phones had anything to do with his tone and manner and he continued to blame the phones.

Me and my family spent $49 tonight for what we consider great Thai food, but there are literally 100's of options to choose from within 10mins of our house. We CHOOSE to come here and have been for over 15yrs.

Poor customer service! And apology was what I was looking for...nothing more.

But please understand we don't have to and never will again. I will be respected and not lied to at any place I...

Mango Thai easily ranks among the top three Thai restaurants I’ve had the pleasure of dining at. The citrus beef, with its impeccable blend of sour, sweet, and savory flavors, accompanied by thinly sliced, crispy fried beef dipped in a delightful sauce and garnished with broccoli, was simply outstanding. I paired it with some fried rice, although it usually comes with jasmine rice. Moreover, the Khao San Rd. Noodle, a delectable street food option, boasted an enticing mix of vegetables, tofu, and shrimp, all wrapped in a sauce teeming with rich, deep flavors. The delicate rice noodles added an extra layer of texture, making it one of my all-time favorite noodle dishes. Lastly, the Tom Kha Soup, with its perfectly balanced flavors, left a lasting impression. I was thoroughly impressed with the overall quality, and the pricing was more than reasonable for the exceptional experience.

Had an amazing experience here today! Looked for Thai in the area and checked the place out. We were seated and served right away. I ordered the Thai Tea, came in a daiquiri glass and we started with the summer rolls and the coconut soup. We loved both! Soup was perfect for the chilly day and the summer rolls were refreshing. I had the yellow curry with chicken with 2 for spice level, medium, it was spicy to me. I had to get extra rice, lol. The other girls got 2(pineapple curry) and 3 (pad thai) and they were good. I'm a wimp! Order Fried Rice(#2spice), chicken skewers, and avacado egg rolls for my husband to go. He loved the rice, we both really enjoyed the skewers, sauce was amazing and it came with cucumber salad, and he loved the avacado rolls too. Our server was outstanding, he boxed our food for us and was very accommodating! We will be back!
